Besides the biggest names, there are almost 300 medical technology companies based in Ireland, employing a highly skilled workforce in excess of 27,000 in the industry, creating this attractive centre of production excellence and network of suppliers. We’re thrilled to formally announce the completion of Integer’s facility expansions in #Ireland! Last Friday, we marked the occasion with the official opening of our new European medical device innovation and manufacturing center in Galway, Ireland. This event followed the formal opening of an 80,000 sq. ft. expansion of our guidewire manufacturing facility in New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland, earlier this month. Combined with the acquisition of Aran Biomedical in Spiddal, Ireland, in 2022, these substantial investments reinforce Integer’s commitment to the Ireland medical device cluster. They also help to ensure our continued ability to serve customers both locally and globally with expanded capacity to meet increasing demand for guidewires, catheters, medical textiles and delivery systems in the years to come.
