Contemporary philosophers recently have occupied themselves with an alleged higher-order discipli... more Contemporary philosophers recently have occupied themselves with an alleged higher-order discipline which relate to the inquiry into foundation of the branches of philosophy like “meta-metaphysics”, “meta-epistemology” or “meta-ethics”, this inquiry seeks to examine the inner workings, theories and disputes within this discipline. These alleged higher-order discipline aimed at analysing our understanding of ontological reality, knowledge and morality respectively, with meta-metaphysics being a study of the foundation of its object discipline, which practically has been the epistemological and semantic foundations of metaphysics, also meta-epistemology centers on the limitations and aims of epistemology and meta-ethics is also the study of metaphysical and epistemological foundation of ethics.
