Ok peeps, here's the deal. I talked to Jim and Steve and Steve said he will be willing to host the Christmas party at his place again. It's scheduled for December 29th (Saturday) but they haven't picked a time yet. Bring yourself, bring a swimsuit (no speedos), bring your interested friends, and bring a couple of bucks so that we can reimburse Steve for the rental of the facilities. Chewbakos should be sending out invites from the scout office but I wanted to make sure everyone got the date on their calendars in time this year. Make sure to harass the slackers who either don't read this or aren't planning on going. Hope to see you all there!

Why: Why not? Of course bring friends you would like to recruit as camp staffers because we don't want to leave the recruiting up to Steve, right?
What to bring: Swimsuit and towel (we have an indoor pool), a food dish to pass (chips, soda, veggies, finger foods, desserts etc.) Steve will provide the meat, probably burgers, dogs etc. There is a charge to use the pool and the room so everyone should bring $2.00.

Well Safe Halloween is less than a week away and I'm finding myself completely out of the loop, although Christine did fill me in a little tidbit. Just wondering if anybody is going to be up for a trip to BD's for dinner on Sunday. You know, we usually do it but things are a little different this year and I'm not sure who will still be interested. I am. And I'll go with anyone who wants to go, even if it's just one other person. I miss all of you and can't wait to see you this Friday. Later :)

On the other hand if anybody is interested in getting together this Friday to go see The Brothers Grimm I would much enjoy some company. i was just wondering how we are suppose to be informed when there was and was not a meeting? i have been informed that the meeting today was cancelled and now i have been informed at 12.30 that there is a meeting for an hour....and i dont have a way to travel out there let alone make it there on time.
