Wipro's Kodathi Office hosted the Wipro-Treeni Supplier Sustainability Summit, inaugurated by Kumaralingam MC, Chief Global Procurement Officer. This event, co-sponsored by the Wipro Sustainability Team and Treeni Inc Sustainability Solutions, brought together an exceptional lineup of participants, including industry peers, academia, and representatives from Wipro, Infosys, Schneider Electric, and SME suppliers. The summit featured a keynote address by Prof. Jose PD from IIM-B, who shared insightful ESG strategies tailored for MSMEs. Wipro Procurement presented its WISE Program (Wipro Initiative for Supplier Engagement), and Treeni demonstrated its cutting-edge resustain™ SCSM platform for ESG tracking and reporting. Azim Premji University’s Mountains of Life exhibition added a thought-provoking dimension to the event. Panel discussions with senior executives from Wipro, Infosys, Schneider Electric, HP, and CBRE, along with CXOs of SME suppliers such as SAA AB Engineering and OSTRACA Architecture & Interiors, offered invaluable insights into embedding sustainability in procurement processes, addressing alignment challenges for SME suppliers, and the pivotal role of technology in ESG integration.
