The data were collected via the Personal Information Form, the Intercultural Sensitivity Scale and the Caring Behaviors Inventory-24. Results: According to the results of the study, it was determined that the intercultural sensitivity mean score was 87±7.55 and the mean score of caring behaviors was 5.24±0.53. There was a positive correlation between the intercultural sensitivity and caring behaviors of the nurses. It was observed that the intercultural sensitivity level of the nurses increased, thus leading to a positive effect on their caring behaviors. Conclusion: It is seen that the increase in the intercultural sensitivity levels of the nurses is positively related to the patient care behaviors. It is important for nurses to have intercultural sensitivity in the professional development of the profession. In order for nurses to provide quality care, it can be recommended to create trainings based on cultural models and skills.

Therefore, there is a need for studies on the factors affecting the mental states of nurses. This study was conducted to examine the effect of nurses' attitudes towards uncertainty and perceived contamination cognition on mental state during the coronavirus disease pandemic. The study was completed with 328 nurses who filled the data collection forms. Data were tested Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis one-way analysis of variance and Spearman correlation tests. In the relational questions were used with simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The average age of the nurses participating in the study was 31.81 ± 7.69, and 84.1% of them were women. All of the participants worked actively during the coronavirus disease pandemic process and 75.0% of them provided care to patients diagnosed with coronavirus disease. Moreover, 68.6% of the participants defined the coronavirus disease pandemic process as frightening/worrying. It was determined that the nurses had high levels of depression, anxiety and stress. While the average score of intolerance of uncertainty was 41.83 ± 8.40, their contamination cognition was 80.34 ± 1.59. A positive relationship was found between intolerance of uncertainty and contamination cognition, depression, anxiety, and stress in nurses. A positive relationship was also determined between contamination cognitions and depression, anxiety, and stress.

The aim of the study is to adapt the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the Healthy Lifestyle Screening Tool (HLST) in adults and to analyze their healthy lifestyle levels. Methods:It is a methodological type of research. The factor structure of the scale was evaluated by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and the sample of 377 adult individuals was evaluated with Cronbach’s alpha value for reliability. Results:The Cronbach alpha value of the scale is 0.825 and it is above the accepted limit. In the seven-factor structure, 48.95% of the total variance was explained. The scale has 34 items and the factor loads of each item vary between 0.24–0.58. Confirmatory factor analysis was compatible with the data obtained with theoretical data. Conclusion:The Turkish version of the HLST scale is a valid and reliable scale that can be used to evaluate healthy lifestyle behaviors in adults.
