In this paper, we evaluate the results of our surveys in the field of information security in the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises, which were carried out in the years 2008-2020. The research was conducted through a research model that was developed based on the analyzed professional and scientific literature. The model was validated in the individual years of study on a sample of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the Slovak Republic. The aim of the surveys was to map the evolution of the companies' approach to information security. Standard methods of scientific work such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, and selection were used in the preparation of the paper. A questionnaire survey was used to collect data, which were evaluated using descriptive statistics and cluster analysis. We expected that companies would pay more attention to information security during the study period, but this was not confirmed. In most cases, the values of the research indicators did not change in leaps and bounds, but gradually, and did not show large differences. The highest increase was recorded in the handling of sensitive information (23%), which can be justified by the regulation GDPR. Other positive values were in the following cases: personal data protection (an increase of 14%), problem management (an increase of 13%), and integration of information systems within the organization (an increase of 13%). We assumed that the main driver of increased care for information security would be legislative pressure in the Slovak Republic, but here we saw an increase of only 10%. An interesting and unexpected result was recorded in the case of small businesses, sector G-Trade-sales, consulting, services, which were classified into three different clusters. It means that small businesses operating in Slovakia in the same industry approach information security differently. A more detailed examination of the mentioned differences thus creates assumptions and topics for further research.

There is no expectation that this trend will slow down in the near future. The goal of this paper is to investigate specific factors, which could affect purchasing decisions on the Internet. We created two models, tested and compared them applying logistic regression on the sample of 1318 adults. Model 1 was designed to test the importance of other customers' reviews by purchasing decisions. Model 2 tested the financial/non-financial benefits of online shopping. In model 1, we identified these statistically significant predictors related to social characteristics 1. Gender, 2. Study at university, 3. Identification with statement, 4. Purchase on electronic marketplaces, and with functionality: 5. The most trust-inspiring e-shop function, 6. Comparison of similar products from different sellers before purchasing. These factors explain, according to Nagelkerke R, 0.196 variability. In the second model for the social characteristics were: 1. Type of settlement, and for functionality: 2. Preferred payment option, and they explain 0.0341 variability of the dependent variable.

The main goal of our research was to identify whether the field of e-commerce is a suitable object for investors in Slovakia.

This was initiated by changes in IT development, its importance, and the view of IT. IT is no longer just a view of the technologies themselves, but also a view on their importance in business activities and IT management in the business context.

With structured data handle Business Intelligence and with unstructured data on the other side Big Data. As a solution to this issue, we have suggested our Business Intelligence and Big Data ecosystem. This model - the ecosystem is based on already proven data processing processes running in Business Intelligence and in Big Data areas. Both processes are integrated into one unit. We have also described their common functioning.

This was initiated by changes in IT development, its importance, and the view of IT. IT is no longer just a view of the technologies themselves, but also a view on their importance in business activities and IT management in the business context. The purpose of this paper is to explore conceptual
frameworks used in companies in the area of information technologies. Selected conceptual frameworks are focused on covering all areas in IT from the IT governance, through IT architecture, service management and security to financial assessment, quality and process control and improvement. Results of our findings are based on the preliminary questionnaire survey. We have analyzed how the companies operating in Slovak republic use the conceptional frameworks and how is this use affected by various factors. The most important parameter that influences the adoption of the conceptual framework into the company is the
number of employees. Conceptual frameworks are almost entirely unused in microenterprises. Larger companies use the frameworks more often in comparison to micro, small and also medium-sized enterprises. The most used frameworks in companies are ITIL and ISO norms (20000 and 27001). An organization that has an IS / IT department or manager
has implemented more conceptual frameworks than one that does not. We also analyzed the level of management of the processes that take place in the company in relation to the perception of IT in the company and its involvement in the processes.

The main goal of our research was to identify whether the field of e-commerce is a suitable object for investors in Slovakia. We examined the customers' behavior when shopping online and the development of this behavior in the future. We determined based on our assumptions hypotheses that were verified by statistical methods and coefficients suitable for measuring the relationships between nominal respectively dichotomous variables, namely: chi-square and Cramer V. Linear regression was used for variables measured by the Likert scale, and subsequently, the data were also evaluated by cluster analysis. The research was carried out using the questionnaire method on 646 randomly selected respondents older than 18 years living in Slovakia. The research results showed a major increase in the use of e-commerce in Slovakia during the COVID-19 pandemic and at the same time the estimated increased use of e-commerce in the future, which confirms that e-commerce is a promising area for new investments in Slovakia.
