In this quest, the "eternal truths" in philosophy are inherently recombined with novel ideas, resulting from experimental research and natural scientists increasingly change the focus of their research. The aim of this paper is to outline the main line of argumentation and to provide a certain causal tale, which can serve as an explanation. We follow two areas of the research problem: 1. brief identification of applied moral philosophy accentuating ecological reflections; 2. importance of ecological science for identification, understanding and solving of the ecological problem.

Ecological ethics articulates the relation between human beings and other living entities and alternatively other nonhuman natural substances. Ecological ethics has become an interdisciplinary poly-discourse, an attempt to draw attention to the deeper meaning of life; it has become a new way of reflecting on our place in the natural world by raising questions about what we need to know (competence of science), how we need to act (competence of ethics and politics) with regard to the environmental and ecological aspects of understanding of our existence. In addition, the present paper adds to these theoretical implications the concept of pronaturalness 1 based on the fact that our decision to adopt this attitude determines our status of moral, rational and intelligent beings capable of amplifying our positions and perspectives of nature in a global context.

Therefore, the attempts to derive ethical norms from nature are perceived as highly problematic. In moral philosophy, the treatment of the problems of morality and moral behaviour is dominated by rational argumentation. Moral rules are created by people. On the other hand, human morality has its "demarcations" represented by the permanently present needs and desires (called natural inclinations) that we have acquired as a result of evolution. One of the problem questions is whether these natural inclinations are hereditary. Ongoing research, giving rise to discourses and controversial debates among ethologists, anthropologists, biologists, ethicists and other scientists, confirms that if this controversy continues, science will be guaranteed its existence.

It is our aim to highlight the interdisciplinary character of the problem under discussion, as well as the fact that different conceptions of the philosophy of ecology would be hard to sustain and difficult to respect if they did not respond to the findings of the latest research, be it in the field of ecology or in the field of philosophy. In order to be able to envisage a future for the Earth that would be sustainable in the long term, we need knowledge and we need to internalise a method for evaluating information that would enable us to discard irrelevant information in times of critical change.

This area involves but is not limited to the following discourses that were selected as the subject matter of the present paper: 1. Discourses emphasizing the contemporary emergent situation designated for the purposes of the present paper by the term information ecology; 2. Discourses dealing with various forms of imaginary escapes associated with virtual reality of communication and information technologies; 3. Discourses focusing on new evaluation and a new hierarchy of moral significance of communication and information technologies that is necessary even in so-called "clean" technological environment of engineers and technical scientists. The present study is inclined to (in accordance with the pragmatic requirement to find a functioning solution to environmental problems, or in other words, the interdisciplinary vision) attend to the contextual and situational dimension of ethical integration and decision-making in the problematic of eco-ethics research and management. Ethical integration is not just a theoretical or intellectual activity (i.e. a philosophical assimilation of different values, responsibilities and interests) but it is also a form of practical reasoning, which is often realized by contradictory moral agents in complex and often empirically and morally ambiguous situations. We assume that the most important integrating role in every reasonable model of ethical analysis must focus on our acti...
