Substituted 1H-indazoles have been synthesized by reductive intramolecular heterocyclization of 2... more Substituted 1H-indazoles have been synthesized by reductive intramolecular heterocyclization of 2,4-diaroyl-N-nitrosomethylanilines and 2,4-diacetyl-N-nitrosomethylaniline. The N-nitrosoanilines were obtained by nitrosation of N-methyl-2,4-diaroyl-and 2,4-diacetylanilines, the products of quaternary 3,5-diaroyl-and 3,5-diacetylpyridinium salt recyclization.

Substituted 5nitronicotinic acid nitriles were obtained via oxidation of nitrodihydropyridines by sodium nitrite in acetic acid.

Исходные нитропиридины получены трехкомпонентным однореакторным синтезом, двустадийным синтезом Ганча с использованием нитрокетонов, а также циклоконденсацией ацилпируватов с енаминами нитроацетона и нитроацетофенонов.

Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase (MTHFR) is key enzyme in metabolism of homocysteine. Homozygo... more Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase (MTHFR) is key enzyme in metabolism of homocysteine. Homozygotes for mutation (TT genotype) have hyperhomocysteinemia, risk factor for atherosclerosis development. e aim of the study was to fi nd out distribution of genotype frequencies of CT MTHFR among patients on maintenance hemodialysis. Possible association of alleles and genotypes of CT polymorphism of the MTHFR gene with age of onset, duration of dialysis and cause of kidney failure was studied also. Cross-sectional study includes patients from Clinic of Hemodialysis KUCS in Sarajevo. In order to perform genotyping, isolated DNA was analyzed by RFLP-PCR and gel-electrophoresis. From total of patients, . (n=) were female, . (n=) were male, mean age .±. years and duration of dialysis .±. months. Genotype distribution was: CC . (n=), CT . (n=) and TT . (n=). Patients with wild-type genotype have longer duration of dialysis in month (. ± .) comparing to TT genotype patients (. ± .), with no statistical signifi cance. T allele frequency was signifi cantly higher in group of vascular and congenital cause of kidney failure (Pearson X =., P<.) comparing to infl ammation etiology group. Genotype distribution results are within the results other studies in Europe. Obtained results indicate that CT polymorphism is not associated with onset, duration and cause of kidney failure in our hemodialysis population. ere is an association of T allele of the MTHFR gene and vascular and congenital cause kidney failure.

4-Ethoxycarbonyl(cyano)-1,3-dimethyl-β-carbolines were synthesized via thermolysis of 4-aryl-3(5)... more 4-Ethoxycarbonyl(cyano)-1,3-dimethyl-β-carbolines were synthesized via thermolysis of 4-aryl-3(5)-azidopyridines and their optical and hypoglycemic properties were studied. For the first time, the accessible Hantzsch nitropyridines were used as the starting materials. Diazotization of 3-aminopyridines having a trimethoxyaryl substituent at the C-4 position of the pyridine ring by intramolecular azo coupling afforded 7,8,9-trimethoxy-2,4-dimethylpyrido[3,4- c ]cinnolines. When evaluating the hypoglycemic properties of the four obtained β-carbolines, it was found that ethyl 7-fluoro-1,3-dimethyl-9 H -pyrido[3,4- b ]indole-4-carboxylate, the structure of which contains the fluorine atom, has the highest glucose-lowering action.
