Studies have been carried out to identify the influence of the nutritional area and methods of gr... more Studies have been carried out to identify the influence of the nutritional area and methods of growing seedlings on the formation of the vegetative mass of the medicinal product under drip irrigation. A direct dependence of the weight of the formed phytomass of the aerial part and the area of the leaf apparatus from the plant nutrition area is revealed — an increase in the nutrition area contributes to an increase in the weight of the aerial part and the leaf area. The impact of nutrition area on Thymus vulgaris L. accumulation of essential oils in dry raw mate... more The impact of nutrition area on Thymus vulgaris L. accumulation of essential oils in dry raw materials (Thymiherba) was studied and described in the article. Four schemes of cultivation were chosen to be studied: 45×40 cm — 56 thousand plants/ha, 45×30 cm — 74 thousand plants/ha, 45×20 cm — 111 thousand plants/ ha, 45×10 cm — 222 thousand plants/ha. It was shown that the increase of nutrition area helped to increase the content of essential oils in dry raw materials. Dry thyme grass with the highest content of essential oil 21.3 ml/kg was obtained when variants with the largest plant nutrition area were applied (the schemes of cultivation 45×40 cm — 56 thousand plants/ha). Reduction of the nutrition area decreased the essential oil content. According to the scheme of cultivation 45×30 cm (74 thousand plants/ha) content decreased to 20.8 ml/kg, and for the minimal nutrition area 45×10 cm (222 thousand plants/ha) the content of essential oil was 18.5 ml/kg. An economic evaluation of seedling cultivation of lemon balm under drip irrigation was carried ou... more An economic evaluation of seedling cultivation of lemon balm under drip irrigation was carried out. The profitability of growing the crop with different number of planted plants per unit area is calculated. It was found that the costs in the first year of growing lemon balm can range from 165.5 to 209.4 thousand UAH/ha, for the second year of cultivation from 154.8 to 171.3 thousand UAH/ha. The highest economic indicators were obtained in the variant with a planting density of 55.6 thousand plants/ha, where the level of profitability was 24% in the first year and 118% in the second year of cultivation. The cost structure is analyzed and the factors that most significantly affect the cost of raw materials are identified. The high efficiency of the seedling method of growing lemon balm in the conditions of drip irrigation as a means of intensification of growing technology is proved.

Дослідна станція лікарських рослин ІАП НААН Проведено аналіз температурного режиму та тривалості ... more Дослідна станція лікарських рослин ІАП НААН Проведено аналіз температурного режиму та тривалості вегетації валеріани лікарської в умовах Лівобережного Лісостепу. Визначено оптимальні строки сівби валеріани лікарської в осінній період та встановлено їх вплив на ріст, розвиток та продуктивність культури. Обґрунтовано, що для успішної перезимівлі посівів рослини повинні сформувати розетку з 3-5 справжніх листків до настання стабільно низьких температур. За накопичення суми активних температур (вище 5 °С) упродовж осіннього періоду понад 1126 °С частина рослин валеріани після перезимівлі вступає в генеративну фазу, що негативно впливає на формування врожайності кореневищ з коренями. Встановлено, що із збільшенням періоду вегетації продуктивність валеріани лікарської підвищується, а період вегетації в 266 діб забезпечує максимальну врожайність сухих кореневищ з коренями.
In the Forest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine, a study was carried out to establish the effect of mineral ... more In the Forest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine, a study was carried out to establish the effect of mineral fertilizers and drip irrigation on the yield of dry raw material. It was found that irrigation significantly increases productivity of althaea, by eliminating the deficit of soil moisture in critical periods of growth and development. The yield increase caused by the use of drip irrigation in the first year of vegetation of the crop was 1.27–1.98 t/ha for dry grass, for leaves — 0.69–1.17 t/ha, for roots 0.22–0.39 t/ha. For the second growing season, the yield increase was: 1.52–4.7 t/ha for grass, 0.46–1.35 t/ha for leaves and 1.5–2.76 t/ha for roots. It was also found that increase of the mineral fertilizers main application dose caused increase of the yield. The highest yield of dry raw material of the culture was obtained in both the first and second years of the growing season with the introduction of N180P180K180.
