This experiment was conducted at the poultry farms of the Department of Animal Resources/ College... more This experiment was conducted at the poultry farms of the Department of Animal Resources/ College of Agriculture/ University of Baghdad, to investigate the effect of diet dilution with wood shaving in early ages on compensatory growth and Productive performance of broilers Atotal of 400, one day old, Ross broiler chicks, were randomly distributed into 4 treatment, T 1 was the control group, T 2 , T 3 and T4 were fed with the control diet diluted with wood shaving (20%) and it was fed to chicks in age 7-14 day, 7-21 , 7-28 day for T2, T3 and T4 respectively. These maps show the data like distributional and regional relations as well as reflecting the scientific data correctly. They also introduce the visual picture which helps interpret the mutual relation between human-being and his environment then getting results from this context. In this research, it has been relied on some incorrect samples taken from theses and published researches which lack accuracy in their preparation whether from the scientific, cognitive, and technical sides because they lack to the simplest correct rules of designation. While in this study, there is an attempt for a forward step to work on preparing accurate samples which are void of problems, cognitive, and technical defects.تركزت الدراسة على تشخيص (مشكلات تمثيل الخرائط الموضوعية الكمية الحجمية) والتي تعرض بياناتها بطريقة خاطئة تارة وأخرى صحيحة تارة أخرى، على شكل توزيعات وعلاقات مكانية وعرض مادتها العلمية بصورة واضحة، كما تقدم الصورة المرئية التي تساعده في تفسير العلاقة المتبادلة بين الإنسان والبيئة، وبالتالي الحصول على نتائج وعلاقات في هذا السياق، حيث تم الاعتماد على بعض النماذج المختارة المأخوذة من الرسائل والاطاريح والبحوث المنشورة، والتي تفتقر إلى الدقة في عملية اعدادها سواء أكانت من الناحية العلمية أم الفنية أو الادراكية أو افتقارها إلى ابسط قواعد التصميم الصحيح، والعمل على اعداد نماذج دقيقة خالية من المشكلات العلمية والفنية والادراكية

This study was conducted to evaluate the Effect of time of using feedblocks (FB) as supplementary... more This study was conducted to evaluate the Effect of time of using feedblocks (FB) as supplementary feed on the weight changes and reproductiveperformance of Awassi yearling ewes depend on crop residues as basal diet. .Sixty Awassi yearling ewes (mean live weight 39.51 kg) aged 12-13 monthswere allocated into four groups according to their live weight. First group (T1)fed conventional diet (barley grains + straw). The second group (T2) fedconventional diet plus FB during pre and post mating. The third group (T3) fedconventional diet plus FB during pre and mating. The fourth group (T4) fedconventional diet plus FB during post mating. The results of this experimentshowed that using FB as supplementary feed reduced the weight losses ofAwassi yearling ewes. FB supplementation improved conception rate of Awassiyearling ewes as compared with control group (T1). In this study, two correlations are developed to calculate absolute rocks permeability from core ... more In this study, two correlations are developed to calculate absolute rocks permeability from core samples tested by Gas Permeameter Apparatus. The first correlation can be applied if K g ≤100, the second correlation can be applied if K >100. Sixty core samples having different permeabilities to give a wide range of values that necessary to achieve a correlation. g The developed correlation is easily applied and a quick method to avoid repeating the test at different pressure values. Only one pressure test is required to reach absolute permeability which is equivalent liquid permeability. The final results show, after comparison between the values of permeability from the correlations and the value of absolute permeability by liquid permeameter, good agreement between the values.
