This paper aims to determine the influence of existing socialism, especially among civil society ... more This paper aims to determine the influence of existing socialism, especially among civil society in order to achieve inter-religious harmony. Socialism is an ideology that emerged because of injustice on the part of the government and favored the clergy towards the authorities. In the past, socialism was communist in nature, that is, it did not give citizens the right to private property, while Islam provided a great opportunity for every individual to have property rights. to the issue of inheritance in accordance with the ability of each Muslim to be able to own wealth. This is not solely intended for the owner but in a number of assets owned by a person there is a share of the rights of the poor who must be paid in zakat as much as several percent according to the provisions. In principle, religious harmony in Indonesia is well regulated. However, a good order does not guarantee the success of harmony. The emergence of various inter-religious conflicts is usually caused by the lack of awareness of religious adherents to obey the existing and applicable rules.
