Titanium alloys are typical for aerospace products. They are attractive because of their low specific weight, and their resistance. Inconel alloys are corrosion and oxidation resistant materials, well suited for work in extreme environments who have a good resistance at high pressure and heat. Inconel alloys retain their properties in a wide temperature range and are attractive for high temperature applications where aluminum and steel parts will not resisted. But the processing of these super alloys is complex and requires dedicate cutting tools and special cutting tools parameters. In the paper will be present solutions at this requirements: new cutting tools and new solutions to manufacturing aerospace parts from Inconel.

In this paper, the computer aided manufacturing solution is presented for manufacturing a complex... more In this paper, the computer aided manufacturing solution is presented for manufacturing a complex surface of the stator blades in addition to the technology implementation on the CNC machine tools in five axes. The particularities of the ESPRIT CAM software are underlining. In the present work, the last module created by DP Technology (dedicate to manufacturing the impeller) is used. Starting with the import of the CAD model, the technology is elaborated and the NC program is generated. The optimized solution, using two different milling strategies, is underlining the capabilities of the CAM software.

Sawing with circular saw is not possible to realize with optima cutting parameters because the co... more Sawing with circular saw is not possible to realize with optima cutting parameters because the continuing variation of contact lengths of wing chord between cutting tool and the material. On coming in and coming out of teeth's in material appear the possibility to break off this teeth's, but in the middle of cutting this possibility is decrease because are much more teeth's in contact. So the optimal saw will be with adjusting cutting parameters when we can assure the protection of teeth's and we can obtain the maximum capacity of saw. This two facility we can obtain by adaptive command of circular saw. In the paper is present the working scheme and the algorithm of adaptive command. Adaptive command have like reference measure the power maximum admissible on teeth like the teeth will do not break and the adjustable measure is the cutting feed of saw blade. In this case is used the maximum cutting capacity of tool. I. II.

Computer aided manufacturing solutions make their mark and optimize the manufacturing process. Different CAM software's have different philosophy with different capabilities. TEBIS CAM software brings more facilities and opportunities to manufacturing a complex part. In the paper was presented this capability on real part. It was made the comparison between two different milling strategies: one classical milling strategy-Contour parallel strategy, versus adaptive milling strategy. Was presented the way how was implement the TEBIS CAM software and the results of manufacturing. The time of manufacturing was significantly reduced with 43% using the adaptive milling strategy and the surface accuracy was improved.
