This research was conducted to measure the awareness levels of tourists in terms of nature conservation, aboriginal culture conservation and social development. A set of questionnaire was developed for data collection. A total of 50 tourist were voluntarily participated in this research. The findings revealed that high levels of awareness in nature conservation, aboriginal culture conservation and social development among tourists in Endau-Rompin National Park have been observed. This result reflects that the ecotourism in Endau-Rompin National Park is sustainable because the tourists are aware of the importance of protecting and conserving the nature, environment and culture that lead to social development for themselves.

The prime factor influencing ultrafiltration to a great extent is the porosity of the membranes employed. Regarding membrane development, alumina membranes are extensively studied due to their uniform porosity and mechanical strength. The present research work is specifically aimed towards the investigation of nanoporous alumina membranes, as a function of sintering parameters, on ultrafiltration performance. Alumina membranes are fabricated by sintering at various temperatures ranging from 1200–1300 °C for different holding times between 5–15 h. The morphological analysis, conducted using Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), revealed a homogeneous distribution of pores throughout the surface and cross-section of the membranes developed. It was observed that an increase in the sintering temperature and time resulted in a gradual decrease in the average pore size. A sample with an o...

It transmits by biting of culicoids midges and causes severe economic losses to animal owner in term of high morbidity, decreased production and impaired reproduction. Balochistan, being largest province of the country have scattered population in far remote areas. About 70% of the provincial population rely upon livestock rearing for their livelihood. Kalat is largest division of the province that stretches from Kalat city upto Lasbella including Khuzdar, Kharan and Awaran. It is located on main RCD route that will ultimately boost the animal marketing and their easy access to main market. Although different vaccines are practiced throughout the province but no such vaccine is available against BTV in the country. That’s why animals are facing problems of some undiagnosed diseases. This review provides necessary information about disease in the region. It is need of the time to educate farmer and strict vig...

Considering its key role in software maintenance, a vast array of automated and semi-automated Feature Location Techniques (FLTs) have been proposed. To compare FLTs, an open, standard set of non-subjective, reproducible “compare-to” FLT techniques (baseline techniques) should be used for evaluation. In order to relate the performance of FLTs compared against different baseline techniques, these compare-to techniques should be evaluated against each other. But evaluation across FLTs is confounded by empirical designs that incorporate different FL goals and evaluation criteria. This paper moves towards standardizing FLT comparability by assessing eight baseline techniques in an empirical design that addresses these confounding factors. These baseline techniques are assessed in twelve case studies to rank their performance. Results of the case studies suggest that different baseline techniques perform diff...

Research paper thumbnail of Minimizing Environmental Pollution while Conserving Oil During Sour Heavy Oil Well Testing - A Novel Approach

Methods, Procedures, Process During well-testing operations the produced hydrocarbon is usually flared in the open flare pit. As per the existing company's HSE procedures, flaring during well testing is considered as a safe option. However, flaring activities needs to be minimized or eliminated as some wells are located in environmentally sensitive areas which are close to farms, Highways or camping area. Due to location constraints the flaring should be minimized to the possible extent. As the well is exploratory, the well was not connected yet to the production facility. The only means of oil transportation will be by using road tankers, for that the H2S concentration in oil needs to be reduced to a permissible limit. The heavy oil well to be tested contains H2S concentration upto 22 %(220,000 ppm) in ga...

Cyber Civilization has become an important source of information sharing and professional activit... more Cyber Civilization has become an important source of information sharing and professional activities like business, banking transactions, shopping, services and advertisement. With the exponentially increase in usage of cyberspace, cybercriminal actives are also increase exponentially. The basic reasons is that with the inception of world wide web, the web applications were also getting popularity for data storing and data sharing, irrespective of the user. With the passage of time web applications were getting more complex with rapid increase in their design faults, creating the surfing of internet totally unsafe. More than 90 percent web applications have some kind of design or development fault which can be easily exploited by the cyber criminals. These faults in web application can help criminals in getting the illegal access to trade secrets of any business. Sometime the web application may not be posing threat but the technology used in these applications become the root cause and put the application to the risk of illegal access. Presently the social networks, Internet connected mobile devices, individual privacy, and the online connectivity of entities such as banks are the most enticing targets for cyber criminals. In this survey we highlight the common cyber threats and detailed analysis of existing system and methodology used for its industrial solutions. Some important some industrial application also analyzed this paper.

Enormous numbers of attacks are being deployed on the web application layer. Due to dramatic increase in Web applications, security gets vulnerable to variety of threats. Most of these attacks are targeted towards the web application layer and network firewall alone cannot prevent these kinds of attacks. The basic reason behind success of these attacks is the ignorance of application developers while writing the web applications and the vulnerabilities in the existing technologies. Web application attacks are the latest trend and hackers are trying to exploit the web application using different techniques. Various solutions are available as open source and in commercial market. But the selection of suitable solution for the security of the organizational systems is a major issue. This survey paper compared the Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions with important features necessary for the security at application layer. Critical analysis on WAF solutions is helpful for the users to select the most suitable solution to their environments.

Multi-metallic nanoparticles are a combination of two or more types of metallic particles. Such multi-metallic nanoparticles were suspended in water using an ultrasonic vibrator for different total volume fractions and different ratios of metallic/metallic nanoparticles. A transient hot wire setup was built to measure the thermal conductivity of the nanofluid at different temperatures. The experimental results were in good agreement with the results in the literature. Then, the experimental results were used as input data for an adaptive neural fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) to predict the thermal conductivity of the multi-metallic nanofluid. The maximum deviation between the ANFIS results and experimental measurements was 1 %. The predicted results and the experimental data were compared with other models. The ANFIS model was found to have good ability to predict the thermal conductivity of the multi-metallic nanofluid over the range of the experimental results.
