To create data infrastructure, disaggregate trip surveys are conducted and large numbers of observations are collected. To efficiently exploit these surveys, the transfer of the individual trip data to a GIS must start with the development of a solid conceptual data model that fully captures the semantic richness of the application domain and emphasizes its spatio-temporal properties. This paper presents a data modeling process that is based on a combination of complex system theory and the objectoriented paradigm and produced an object-oriented spatio-temporal data model. Main domain entities are modeled as highly structured classes. They encapsulate a memory of their time bound connections and states. Observation data sets are sampled from the origin-destination survey conducted in the Que bec region in 1991. This survey incorporated street networks and activity places. The model was smoothly implemented into a proof-of-concept database prototype hosted by an object-oriented GIS shell. The prototype offers a means to navigate through a nested hierarchy of objects, providing a description of an individual's travel behavior over space and time. The objects have a solid conceptual basis and can meet the needs of scientific research such as hypothesis formulation, simulation, forecasting and induction.

The processing of these queries is performed by a system that usually provides a simple user interface based on SQL like queries. However, the existing processing systems do not allow the querying of wireless sensor networks that support IPv6 protocol. In this paper, we present the design of a new query processing system called QLowpan, that supports the newly emerged protocols RPL and 6LowPAN, and, the latter have enabled wireless sensor networks to become reachable on the global IP network. KEYWORDS-wireless sensor network, 6lowpan, sensor network queries processor, RPL.. Ι. INTRODUCTION Recently, wireless sensor networks have been used in wide range of applications such as health monitoring, smart home [1] and agriculture [2]. However, dealing with technologies related to wireless sensor networks is always limited to the expert community. In fact, in order to use a wireless sensor network, sensors must be programmed in advance. The aim of this programming is to retrieve the desired information and specify adequate sampling frequency. Limitations of energy, memory and bandwidth in wireless sensor network must also be considered in the programming phase. These constraints make programming such systems a complicated task. It is in this context sensor network queries processing (SNQP) [3] system has been created. Indeed, the latter offers the possibility to user to look at wireless sensor networks as a database. In order to collect certain information from the wireless sensor network, an SQL like query must be simply entered. Since September 2003 date of the development of TinyDB[4], the first sensors network queries processor (SNQP), the lists of this kind of system have not ceased to

Identifying the knowledge embedded in the pool of data of the Independent Higher Instance for Elections (ISIE) is an essential operation to facilitate its consultation, optimize its exploitation and recycling in other socio-political contexts. The present study aims to model electoral domain knowledge using FreeMind's concept mapping. The methodology adopted consists in defining a list of questions that should be both of the type addressed to a conventional database and questions that use logical inference tools. The Perdurant-Endurant approach (SNAP-SPAN) was used to process the collection of collected concepts that were subsequently introduced in the Protected OWL editor. An ontology prototype in the field of knowledge engineering based on the principle of "open world assumption" compared to the "closed world assumption" that characterizes databases will be implemented and tested.

Fluctuations in land values in southern Québec, Canada 451 land use, for the entire study period ... more Fluctuations in land values in southern Québec, Canada 451 land use, for the entire study period and for each of its decades. The results show that land value has increased at different times during the past, according to its geomorphological type and land use. These relationships are explained by the important transformation phases that have affected southern Québec during the second half of the twentieth century.

The objective of this paper is to integrate all the 3D data into a Geographic Information System ... more The objective of this paper is to integrate all the 3D data into a Geographic Information System (GIS), from *.skp files that it modeled by applying augmented reality (AR). The application of the RA to a 3D model integrated into the GIS will be a valuable means of communication for the enhancement of our learning environment. Accessible to all, including those who cannot visit the site, it allows discovering for example ruins in a pedagogical and relevant way. From an architectural point of view, the 3D model provides an overview and a perspective on the constitution of the environment, which a 2D document can hardly offer. 3D navigation and the integration of 2D data into the model make it possible to analyze the remains in another way, contributing to the faster establishment of new hypotheses. Complementary to the other methods already exploited in geology, the analysis by 3D vision is, for the scientists, a non-negligible gain of time which they can thus devote to the more in-de...

The proposed approach permits the analysis of video sequences using deep learning and TensorFlow technologies. The proposed approach splits video in set of images, detects objects/entities present in these images and stores their descriptions into a standard XML file. With an algorithm we developed, we're able track motion that animated entities in the video sequences.

It is an effective method of solving common Natural Language Processing tasks such as text categorization. In this paper, we investigate the text categorization problem using a deep learning approach in particular CNN method. However, due to the rise of Big Data and increased complexity of tasks, the efficiency of CNNs have been severely impacted because of their extensive training time and high computational cost. To overcome these obstacles, we propose a MapReduce-based CNN by reformulating the CNN’s training from a single training network to a series of parallel trained smaller networks. Each smaller network processes a sub-sample of input text.

Consequently, the need for a system, which will allow to effectively manipulate video content is undeniable. This paper presents an approach that allows the systematic video analysis using deep learning and ontology generation. The proposed approach permits the extraction and the building of an ontology using results obtained by the deep learning techniques such as key frames, detected objects and actions (movements).
