In this paper, we describe the contributions of instructional design and Learning Design approach... more In this paper, we describe the contributions of instructional design and Learning Design approaches to pedagogical work organization. Using qualitative research approach and theoretical-descriptive perspective, we compare theoretical and practical framework of instructional design and Learning Design with a Brazilian case study, which contemplates all of instructional design processes-since planning, design, implementation, execution and evaluation until formation and continuing evaluation of in service teachers. The case study also encompasses didactical material production and complementary actions of academic research, under a contextualized point of view. As results, we reflect about benefits and challenges of Learning Design, and its contributions to innovation in educational technology field. RESUMO Esta pesquisa investiga as contribuições do design instrucional e da abordagem de Learning Design para a organização do trabalho pedagógico. Utilizando a abordagem qualitativa de pesquisa e a perspectiva teóricodescritiva, os fundamentos teórico-práticos do design instrucional e do Learning Design são cotejados com o estudo de caso nacional, que contempla todos os processos de design instrucional-do planejamento, design, implementação, execução e avaliação, até a formação e a atualização continuada de professores em serviço, abrangendo também a produção de materiais didáticos e ações complementares de pesquisa acadêmica, sob uma perspectiva contextualizada. A investigação resultou no levantamento de potencialidades e benefícios da adesão ao Learning Design como fundamentação teórica para o design
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to “map ” the production of scholarly works in the field ... more Abstract: The purpose of this study was to “map ” the production of scholarly works in the field of distance learning (DL) in Brazil, using as the corpus of analysis the masters and doctoral theses successfully defended in the country’s graduate programs, as well as articles published in specialized scholarly journals. The corpus included 847 titles, which were analyzed within the categories of general subject, extent of coverage and year of appearance in the primary literature.

Pensar en tecnologia desde un punto de vista educacional significa pensar en personas conectadas ... more Pensar en tecnologia desde un punto de vista educacional significa pensar en personas conectadas a traves de una red tecnologica. Este articulo analiza de que forma los nuevos recursos tecnologicos, en especial la Internet, pueden servir de modelos de ensenanza que den prioridad a la integracion de las dimensiones humanas y tecnologicas en el proceso de ensenanza-aprendizaje. Desde una perspectiva contextual, personalizable y autentica que encuentra eco en las potencialidades ofrecidas por las tecnologias de la informacion y la comunicacion (TIC), este articulo describe el desarrollo y la implementacion de una propuesta de diseno instruccional en una situacion hibrida de ensenanza-aprendizaje en linea, realizada dentro del contexto universitario con el apoyo de un ambiente virtual de aprendizaje.

It checks the possibilities and limitations of the structural and content gamification approach to promote student engagement over an online course and to simulate authentic problem situations faced by tutors in their real playing field. By the use of a formative research, called design based research (DBR), a naturalistic case post factum was analyzed, in order to contribute to the improvement of the original design proposed for the course. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected in a pilot class that had 54 students enrolled. The results indicate that the combination of the two types of gamification, based on different theoretical foundations, can contribute to increase student engagement in online learning courses and to provide opportunities to transpose into practice what was theoretically discussed in the course curriculum.

We study equivariant coarse homology theories through an axiomatic framework. To this end we intr... more We study equivariant coarse homology theories through an axiomatic framework. To this end we introduce the category of equivariant bornological coarse spaces and construct the universal equivariant coarse homology theory with values in the category of equivariant coarse motivic spectra. As examples of equivariant coarse homology theories we discuss equivariant coarse ordinary homology and equivariant coarse algebraic K-homology. Moreover, we discuss the cone functor, its relation with equivariant homology theories in equivariant topology, and assembly and forget-control maps. This is a preparation for applications in subsequent papers aiming at split-injectivity results for the Farrell-Jones assembly map. Contents
