A single-stage thirteen-level MLI is suggested in this paper based on the developed Hybrid bridge... more A single-stage thirteen-level MLI is suggested in this paper based on the developed Hybrid bridge MLI configured with the double-level circuit. Though the concept of a double-level circuit was already introduced it is still not utilized. This topology will not only lessen the number of devices but also increase the output of an inverter twice that of the conventional cascaded hybrid bridge multilevel inverter. The purpose of this network topology is to enhance the output of the Multilevel inverter reduce the component count of devices used and utilize the concept of double level circuit. A pulse width modulation with a Phase disposition technique is used with the asymmetric structure of three DC sources V1=12, V2=24, and V3=48 to obtain a greater number of levels. The design of this suggested topology is done by using MATLAB software. An analysis is also carried out using the FFT tool in MATLAB software.

This article introduces the application of cascade controller in hybrid power system which enhance the frequency stability during power perturbations of the load and generation. For this study, a thermal power unit is considered with integration of a microgrid consist of regular diesel generator, renewable power generating units, energy storage and other power managing devices. Proportional-integral and proportional-integral-derivative (PI-PID) cascade controller is provided for this hybrid power system to reduce the frequency oscillations during system uncertainties. The optimal values of the PI-PID controller are achieved by using water evaporation optimization (WEO) algorithm with fast convergence rate. Inverters have many Technological improvements in their maximum power handling capabilities by us... more Inverters have many Technological improvements in their maximum power handling capabilities by using renewable energy sources. Multilevel inverters give effective and efficient interface for renewable energy sources and perform Transformer-less operation and increase the power quantity and quality of voltage of the PV system. In this paper, the benefits of H-bridge inverters including the total harmonic distortions are discussed. This paper has primarily focused on Sinusoidal PWM and worked on the carrier based phase disposition techniques. The performances of modulation schemes are compared. Simulations were done using MATLAB Simulink for the given PWM techniques.
