The apparel export industry is one of Sri Lanka’s most significant contributors to the country’s overall economy. The multiple case study method was employed in conjunction with a qualitative approach in this study. This study also used data triangulation, which comprised both primary and secondary data from interviews and observations. Secondary information was gathered from annual reports and other documents. The population of this study is the apparel export industry and selected three apparel companies as the sample and interviewed nine managers from these companies. Today, going green is a trend in almost all the fields in the world; Human Resource Management fi... more Today, going green is a trend in almost all the fields in the world; Human Resource Management field is no exception. Green Human Resource Management has gained the attention of the top management in any sector. This study intends to identify the factors that affect Green Human Resource Management, including organizational culture, leadership and personal character. The academic staff of a state university is the individual unit of analysis. As a cross-sectional study, the study was conducted in a non-contrive setting, with minimum researcher interference. Three hypotheses have been developed to test the nomological network/conceptual framework. The study's findings suggest that leadership directly impacts Green Human Resource Management and has no impact on other factors. This study adds new knowledge to social exchange theory and has significant policy implications for universities.

There is a dearth of studies conducted on Bibliometric analysis of leadership research in the current period. This kind of study is not available during the period of 2018-2022. From the SCOPUS database, Meta-data was collected for this study. For this study 700 scholarly works reviewed. The increasing trend of publications is observed in leadership research using longitudinal data. It is evident that the researchers from the USA rule the chart on the quantum of research done in the field of leadership research. Using the thematic map, the study of 700 scholarly works divided into four clusters, including basic, motor, niche and emerging themes. Within these more prominent themes and their associated subthemes, paves the way to novel directions in research.

We conduct a bibliometric analysis on a selection of 447 studies from the Web of Science database to determine the extent of research on entrepreneurship education at universities between 2004 and 2022. In this study, researchers identify the most influential articles and writers based on their citations, publications, and geographical location. Additionally, they assess existing themes, identify bottlenecks to growth in the literature, and recommend future study options. This is quantitative study with hypothesis testing through correlational investigation in a non-contrive setting. Conducted with minimum researchers’ interference, the time horizon of this study is cross-sectional with individual unit of analysis, i.e. managerial employees and non-managerial employees in XYZ diversified company using 77 samples selected based on simple random sampling. On the other hand, employee engagement is all about employee's cognitive, emotional and behavioral involvement of his/her job as well as with the organization. The purpose of this study was to investigate the intervening role or the mediating role of employee engagement on the relationship between high performance work practices and employee job performance. Methodology. Data gathered from 135 managerial level employees in the Sri Lankan public listed banks. Hypothesis was developed based on the theoretical assertions and empirical evidence. Three hypotheses were tested in a non-contrive study setting as a cross sectional study. After the reliability is ensured the correlation, regression and sobel test used to examine the hypothesized relationships. Results. The findings of this study reveals that significant mediating effect of employee engagement on the relationship between High Performance. Work practices and employee job performance. Practical іmplications. This study is beneficial for the banks to improve their job performance by adopting high performance work practices including realistic job preview, pay for performance, staff attitude surveys, selfdirected teams, regular appraisals, extensive training and symbolic egalitarianism. Originality. This study makes two theoretical contributions. A novel theoretical framework built on the foundation of system theory is presented first, laying the groundwork for further investigation. Secondly, this study adds new knowledge to signaling theory by ensuring the high-performance work practices such as symbolic egalitarianism signals the employee that the organization recognize their worth and enhance and their job performance.

This study unearths an empirical as well as a population gap that there is no empirical evidence between the relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement in the public universities in the Sri Lankan context. Identified research gap was bridged with a quantitative study, and the unit of analysis is individual (i.e., lecturers in the Sri Lankan public universities). The type of investigation is correlational. This cross-sectional study was done with minimum researcher interference in a non-contrived study setting.
