This research evaluated how changes in land use in the Keramasan region of Palembang, South Sumatra, affect the water quality of the Pedado River. Physical, chemical, and microbiological characteristics of the water were gathered in 2017 and 2022 from four monitoring points along the Pedado River. Pollution indicators were used to evaluate the state of river water quality. The results showed that land conversion operations increased flow from the mainland into the Pedado River and the loss of swamp vegetation. One such activity in 2022 was the backfilling of 42.92 hectares of swampland. Total suspended solids (TSS), copper (Cu), oil, and fat in the Pedado River surpassed the quality limits of class II, according to Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82 of 2001, based on measurements of the water quality in the Keramasan region. The Pedado River's water pollution status changed from mildly contaminated in 2017 (pollution index: 3.728-4.940) to moderately polluted in 2022 (pollution index: 5.395-6.236). These results highlight the critical need for thorough water treatment and preventative actions to lessen further contamination in the Pedado River.

This research aims to examine how legal legitimacy operates in joint property disputes and what factors influence it. The study employs an empirical juridical approach, with the data source being the verdict of the Sekayu Religious Court Number 0498/Pdt.G/2017/PA.SKY concerning joint property cases. The study found that the application of the law in joint property disputes does not align with the written norms, resulting in the religious court's verdict not being fair for both the plaintiff and the defendant. Factors influencing the implementation of joint property distribution norms can be juridical, such as the absence of detailed rules on the distribution procedure, and sociological, such as the inadequate understanding of these norms by the community.

The population in this study were Sriwijaya University students who made offline visits (face to face) who visited the Sriwijaya University Library in 2021 who returned as many as 16,395 people. Determining the sample using the Slovin formula with incidental sampling technique. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires to 99 students who visited the Sriwijaya University Library. This study uses primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. The analysis technique in this study uses path analysis and Sobel test to test the mediating variables. The results of this study indicate that the better the student's social capital, the higher the level of student satisfaction. student goals have a dominant or strong influence on the interest in repeat visits. The direct influence of student social capital on interest in visiting has a moderate effect because it depends on other variables, including student satisfaction with the services of the Sriwijaya University Library. Social capital has an indirect effect on interest in revisiting (revisit intention), the increase in interest in revisiting when viewed from student social capital will be real if viewed from student satisfaction with the services of the Sriwijaya University Library.

This study aims to analyze the implementation performance of the Comprehensive MSME Census Activity in South Sumatra and identify factors influencing performance gaps. Employing a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach, the study utilizes Van Meter & Van Horn's Implementation Process Model, considering six policy implementation aspects: policy standard and objective; the policy resources; inter-organizational communication and enforcement activities; the characteristics of the implementing agency; economic, social, and political conditions; and the disposition of the implementors. The research findings reveal a generally successful and comprehensive implementation performance of the 2022 Comprehensive MSME Census Activity in South Sumatra. Notably, the highest data collection achievement in Muara Enim District (171%) resulted from implementers' dispositions, modifying data collection mechanisms through discretionary initiatives. In contrast, the lowest achievement in Ogan Komering Ilir District (60%) was attributed to adhering strictly to procedural steps provided by policy framers. Effective policy implementation necessitates technological infrastructure readiness and the competence of involved personnel. Policy success hinges on government urgency to establish a Unified MSME Data System and specific task allocation based on professional needs. Impeding factors include field workers' inefficiency and persistent sectoral egoism affecting collaboration.

The study was conducted in the Keramasan area, Kertapati, Palembang City, which is an urban area affected by the conversion of swamp functions. The interview process and in-depth interviews of the informants. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with inductive reasoning. Data collection techniques through community observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Primary data in the research process is information obtained by researchers directly through the first source/informants/community. The negative and positive impacts of swamp function conversion on environmental, social, and economic components constitute the increase in income, lowering the quality of river water, and increase in the amount of runoff. The negative impacts, after all, need to be managed so that the development process can continue to run with an emphasis on environmental aspects. Changes in land use patterns, surface water quality, runoff, changes in community attitudes and perceptions, and public opinion conditions must be managed and considered because these factors have a real impact on changing both positively and negatively.
