MGK was characterized and compared with GK through swelling index, water retention capacity and ATRFTIR. MGK showed comparable swelling index and water retention capacity to GK. The prepared solid dispersions were characterized for their ATRFTIR, drug content, and in vitro release studies followed by various release kinetics and mechanism of release. The drug release profile showed concentration dependent release retardant potential of natural polymer from 99.91 to 72.29 % (SD 1 to SD 10 ). Kinetic profile showed good linearity with zero order i.e. exhibiting concentration independent release of drug and Hixson Crowell cube root law (r 2 = 0.848 to 0.925) demonstrating that the drug release from the SD was erosion based. Korsmeyer pepas model provide n values of 0.566 to 0.788 suggestive of release mechanism was non-Fickian or anomalous release (0.45 < n < 0.89), which point towards drug release follows both diffusion and erosion mechanism. The drug content was found to be between 99.39 % and 100.83% representative of drug uniformity in various formulation batches.

Using gathered data under psychological emotion stimulation experiments, 4 types of emotions, happy, fear, sad and calm are classified. MLP is used as the classifiers. Experimental results show potential of using this technique to verify emotion based on the EEG signals of accuracy up to 90% can be achieved. This shows the potential of using the MFCC-MLP approach to detect basic emotions using EEG signals from the brain scalp.

We first justify the use of the adjoint of the attenuated wave operator instead of the ideal one for modifying the time-reversal process as a first order correction of the attenuation effect. Then we present a modified approach for higher order corrections. We use a thermo-viscous law model for the attenuation losses.

Through this analysis, we can determine correlation between driver behavior and basics emotion which will gain such agreement by psychologists in this area. Besides, through the VA, it will let us to

While many studies have focused on EF in adulthood, the development of EF in children is yet to be understood. This paper proposes a new approach for understanding children's reactions during EF tasks by mapping their EEG signals onto the 2D valence-arousal affective space model. Brain signals of ten pre-school children aged between 4-6 years (male: 5; female: 5) were collected while they play the standardized version of the Dimensional Change Card Sort. Behavioral results in terms of percentage of correct responses and response time did not vary significantly across gender. Emotion mapping using the valence-arousal model showed that boys tend to be consistent in their emotion during pre-switch and post-switch tasks. The emotion of girls, however, tends to shift towards neutral state during the post-switch test regardless of their initial emotions in the pre-switch phase.

Softswitch can handle many types of calls, such as PC-to-PC, PC-to-phone, SMS, MMS and many others. Besides, it can deploy different types of applications and services for each call connection. The types of calls supported depend on the design and scope of the softswitch framework. In this paper, a low cost softswitch solution is proposed and developed based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). PC-to-PC calls are examined and text to speech conversion is employed to test the softswitch.

We follow Burridge et al. [Proc. Royal Soc. of London. 440(1910] to express unknown Green function in terms of three scalar functions φi, by using the spectral decomposition of the Christoffel tensor associated with the medium. The problem of computing Green function is, thus reduced to the resolution of three scalar wave equations satisfied by φi, and subsequent equations with φi as source terms. To describe viscosity effects, we choose an empirical power law model which becomes well known Voigt model for quadratic frequency losses.

Fuzzy CMAC is basically a CMAC that is coupled with a fuzzy system. This paper presents the incorporation of fuzzy systems into CMAC with Approximate Analogical Reasoning Scheme (AARS) as its inference rules and Discrete Incremental Clustering (DIC) as its technique to classify the input space, which is used for the speaker verification system. Features extracted from a known speaker using either Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCC) or Delta Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (DMFCC) methods are used as the inputs for the system. The variables used for the performance analysis are False Acceptance Rate (FAR), False Rejection Rate (FRR), and Equal Error Rate (EER), training and testing time.

At this time a dyslexic child have only an one-in-seven chance of ever catching up with his or her peers in reading, writing, speaking or listening. Early identification can pave the way for early intervention and the dyslexic child can be helped at an early stage. Furthermore, the results yielded are the best when the intervention in the form of providing specialized instructions or carried out through some other way yields best results when done at preschoolers. Thus the importance of early identification. The following study is devoted to the EEG based identification of dyslexia for preschool going children. In this analysis feature extraction are carried out using KDE and MLP is used for classification of the features extracted. The results show promising classification accuracy.
