Q... more Sense-making in the information-seeking process is one of the major information-seeking models. Questions have been raised about information seekers’ ambiguous needs and focus-shifting tendency relative to sense-making. This paper reports initial findings from a study investigating how experienced information processors (participants) interact with and make sense of web-based information sources whilst undertaking a topic comprehension task. Participants were provided with some resources and then their sensemaking strategies were assessed. In this study, audio/video data has been collected. All participants individually completed a topic comprehension task. Their behaviours were coded in terms of an empirically based framework of search, evaluation, and sensemaking actions. This paper highlights how planning and use of external representations are reflected in participants’ interactions with resources. These and other results are discussed concerning sensemaking. This paper is targeted at people who are interested in information-seeking models specifically in sensemaking.

for more accurate and visually pleasing images is increasing. Digital images have
noise and there are multiple sources of it. There are different types of noises. And
there are different techniques/methods to filter/remove noise from images. Each
method has its advantages and disadvantages. This journal is targeted at people
who are interested in image processing or doing projects related to image
processing.
