The main objective of the study is to determine the diagnostic accuracy of ultrasonography in classifying thyroid nodules compared with fine-needle aspiration. This retrospective study included all 68 patients diagnosed with thyroid nodules at King Fahd Hospital of the University, Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, between June 1, 2014, and November 30, 2016. Parameters were selected based on the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound criteria. Ultrasonographic features, namely, nodule margins, echotexture, vascularity and calcifications, and fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) results were reviewed by two radiologists blinded to each other's findings and validated by another experienced interventional radiologist. Ultrasonography results were compared against that of FNAC to calculate sensit...

Study Design: A consecutive cohort of 23 patients with lumbar discogenic back pain who underwent Nucleoplasty with endoscopic microdiscectomy. Outcome measurements evaluating pain intensity and functional disability were completed preoperatively, at 1 months, at 6 months, and at the 1-year follow-up visit. Methods: All cases (N=23) following up with confirmed diagnosis of contained lumber discogenic back pain, who failed conservative treatment and fulfilled the criteria for surgical intervention, then underwent endoscopic microdiscectomy with nucleoplasty, and followed up by regular clinic visits for a period of one year maximum. Primary outcome variables that are going to be used in the research is Visual analogue scale (out of 10) and the Oswestry disability index (out of 100).

We wanted to study Impact among CLU students. Method: During a public community awareness exhibition for CLU students at the university's campus, individuals were asked to conduct our survey regarding prevalence and awareness of sexually transmitted diseases. Human subjects were randomly selected, not targeted individuals whom attended the exhibition. Result: Our data shows that the majority of subjects have reported history of sexual activity (86.1%), with (32.3%) of them reporting multiple sex partners, and up to (16.1%) of them reporting sexually transmitted diseases symptoms. More than half of the subjects (54.8%) got tested for sexually transmitted diseases, and (6.5%) diagnosed with it.Our data also shows that (17.7%) of the subjects report having unprotected sex on a usual basis, and (61.3%) have had unprotected sex at least once in their life. Trading money for sex (prostitution) is very uncommon among the subjects, with only (6.5%) reported previous experience with prostitution. Conclusion: We conclude that although prevalence of sexual activity is significant, data shows healthy sexual behavior among subjects, and very good results in comparison with research done on other colleges and universities.
