heartbeat sensors and pulse checks are examples of traditional techniques. Early identification of heart illness and
malfunctioning heart valves is made possible by cardiac monitoring, especially auscultation with electronic
stethoscopes. The effects and disadvantages of employing the heart rate monitoring sensor have been thoroughly
discussed in this study.

limited access to quality healthcare services. This study as aimed at assess the impact
of healthcare quality on facility utilization among rural Dwellers in Bauchi State Nigeria.
A cross sectional design was used for this study. Simple random sampling technique
was used to select three local government areas from each senatorial district. A total of
1344 respondents were sampled for the study. The questionnaires were administered by
the researcher and some research assistants. The reliability index as determined using
Cronbach’s alpha test of internal consistency stood at 0.89. The data from the study were
presented using descriptive statistics of mean and percentages for the research questions.
The analysis was carried out using SPSS version 25. The results obtained showed that
the quality of healthcare services influences the utilization of health care facilities by
rural dwellers in Bauchi State. However, the r
2 value of 0.29 indicates that the quality of
healthcare services have 8% influence on the utilization of health care facilities by rural
dwellers in Bauchi State. Therefore, the stake holders in the health sector, in collaboration
with Government and healthcare workers should ensure that the quality of services offered
in the health care facilities is improved upon. This will in turn encourage the rural dwellers
to regularly visit healthcare facilities in Bauchi State Nigeria.

Samuelson (1994) was adopted as the theoretical framework. The study adopted
survey research design, primary method of data collection through
questionnaires. The data was presented in simple percentage with the aid of
SPSS, Simple regression analysis was used to test the Hypothesis with the aid of
Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Findings from the study revealed
that, there is significant positive effect relationship between TETFund
intervention and academic staff training and development of the Universities in
the North-West. The statement of the null hypothesis that Tetfund has no
significant effect on Academic staff training and development was rejected. The
study recommends that, TETFund should increase the level of intervention on

not uncommon due to shared risk of transmission particularly in areas of endemic HBV infection. The
purpose of this study is to assess the prevalence of co-Infection of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
and hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection among people living with HIV in Dutse metropolis, Jigawa
Nigeria. A hospital-based cross-sectional study included 100 confirmed People Living With HIV/AIDS
(PLWHA) attending General Hospital Duste, Jigawa. Demographic information, risk factors, and
serological analyses for HBV were obtained using a structured questionnaire and the vein puncture
technique. Statistical analysis utilized SPSS version 25, employing the Chi-square test for categorical
variables. The study revealed a statistically significant association between age groups and HIV/HBV
co-infection (p = 0.006), with the highest prevalence in the 29-39 age range. Primary education (p =
0.009) also exhibited significant associations. Employed individuals (8.51%) exhibited a higher
HIV/HBV co-infection rate than the unemployed (7.01%), with a non-significant association (p =
0.54). Males showed a marginal elevation in co-infection rates (8%) compared to females (7.55%), but
the gender difference was not statistically significant. Divorced individuals had a significantly higher
prevalence (22.22%) than married (6.67%) and single (6.25%) individuals. Risky behaviors and
residence did not show significant associations with co-infection. The overall prevalence of HBV/HIV
co-infection in this study was 8%. Our study showed a high prevalence of HBV/HIV co-infection

It explores the historical perspectives of policy-making, from the colonial era to post-independence periods, and identifies key successes and failures that have shaped Nigeria's socio-economic landscape. The report highlights factors influencing policy decisions, such as colonial legacy, national identity, economic considerations, and global influences. The study delves into contemporary policy formulation and implementation challenges, including corruption, inadequate funding, and regional disparities. Addressing these challenges is crucial for achieving sustainable development and effective governance. The report emphasizes the need for evidence-based decision-making, inclusivity, and long-term planning in policy processes. Drawing from historical experiences, the study recommends embracing stakeholder engagement, public accountability, and multi-sectoral collaboration. Combating corruption and strengthening institutions are essential to unlock the potential of well-designed policies. Investing in human capital and data-driven approaches will drive sustainable progress. Policy formulation and implementation success ultimately relies on joint efforts from policymakers, government institutions, civil society, and citizens. By prioritizing transparency and inclusivity, Nigeria can foster a thriving democratic society and pave the way for a prosperous, equitable, and sustainable future.

T... more During World War II, the United States and the United Kingdom used remanufacturing in practice. These nations did not produce any automobiles or replacement parts since all production facilities were devoted to the manufacture of military hardware. The only choice left was to remanufacture the old vehicles and keep them on the road. This is the development of the idea. There are 70,000 remanufacturing businesses in the US that bring approximately $53 billion annually [9, 10]. Entrepreneurs are constantly searching for less manufacturing costs, faster manufacturing turnaround times, and higher manufacturing quality in today's cutthroat business environment. In order to meet these needs, technology has been developed. Manufacturing procedures have advanced over the past ten years as a result of the availability of better technical solutions [11, 12]. However, environmental considerations were disregarded throughout the competition. Remanufacturing is a process that offers more affordable and sustainable alternatives. Remanufacturing is included for a number of reasons, including the following: Remanufacturing describes the process of disassembling products, cleaning, repairing, or replacing parts, and then reassembling them in good working order. In other words, it involves reusing discarded materials to create new goods that are functionally and aesthetically equivalent to the originals. Remanufacturing is interchangeable with a variety of other phrases, including rebuilding and refurbishing, although it is now widely recognized as the industry term for this procedure [1-5]. Candidate products are often transported to a production setting and deconstructed there. The component parts are changed, if necessary, after being cleaned, inspected, mended, or reconditioned. The product is then tested to meet its original performance requirements after the parts have been reassembled. Remanufacturing is the process of recovering the value added to the material when

They need expensive, specialized equipment as well as knowledgeable employees first. Second, data loss may result from human error. Thirdly, because people rather than algorithms will be analyzing the obtained data, these schemes cannot foresee future patterns. Additionally, changes in the characteristics of water may result from the sample transit process. Therefore, it is challenging to consistently check water quality using outdated monitoring techniques. The disadvantages of traditional environmental monitoring techniques have been covered in this study.

Although incidence rates remain highest in more developed countries, fatality rates in less developed countries are substantially higher due to a lack of early identification and treatment resources. This study aimed to explore the cancer situation in Nigeria Methods: an evaluation of many research articles was undertaken from June to August 2021 to investigate the cancer status in Nigeria. An internet search using Google was conducted with relevant information from various sources. Only relevant published articles that satisfied the study's inclusion criteria were chosen and reviewed. Finally, the findings were compiled into a report. Results: Annually, 100,000 new cases are predicted to emerge in Nigeria, with a high case fatality rate. Because Nigeria is still dealing with infectious diseases and has insufficient data on cancer epidemiology, the burden of cancer in the country is high. According to the World Health Organization, cancer claimed the lives of 41,000 Nigerians in 2018 out of 166,000 cases documented in the country. Nigeria was responsible for around 15.0 percent of Africa's estimated 681,000 new cancer cases in 2008. Alcohol drinking, tobacco use, a poor diet, a sedentary lifestyle, and polluted environments are the leading causes of new cancer diagnoses in Nigeria. This country's most common cancers are breast, cervical, prostate, and blood cancer. Conclusion: Cancer is diagnosed at a late stage in the majority of African countries. Poverty, lack of medical coverage, and late or inadequate diagnosis are the main issues for cancer patients in Nigeria. In Nigeria, the cancer incidence, prevalence, and mortality data are based on estimates. Cancer is a frightening disease that requires immediate attention in Nigeria.
