Metals and chironomids were sampled monthly at three stations (A-C) between August 2013 and January 2014. Across the stations, zinc ranged (3.9-75 mg/g), manganese (1.29-1.65 mg/g), lead (0.00-0.10 mg/g), iron (101-168 mg/g) and copper (0.13-0.17 mg/g). The metal ions did not differ significantly (P > 0.05) between the sampling stations. However, zinc and iron ions were significantly different between the sampling seasons (P < 0.05). Thirteen chironomid species were recorded, with Chironomus sp., Polypedilum sp. and Ablabesmyia sp. dominating the assemblage structure. Mouthpart deformities were significantly higher at Station A compared with Station C, and seasonally significantly higher during dry season compared with wet season. Elevated incidences of deformity were recorded in Chironomus spp larvae as compared to other genera therefore for further studies in this region assessments should be based solely on Chironomus species and ignoring the rest. Strategies need to be developed to reduce the contaminations and the biological effects.

To identify these factors as factors that decreases the usage of Nigeria academic libraries. A self-administered questionnaire comprising the three (3) scales and their items were incorporated and analyze to find out the findings. The findings indicated that these factors are causing the students not to frequent attending the library. The results of running these factors indicated that the library environment factor is higher in terms of mean scores and standard deviation with a slight difference with library staff and library services. This shows that the library environment factor is the factor that causes students, not to visit the library frequently followed by library staff and library services. However, the library staff and library service...

Baro et al. (2013) opined that, the term "electronic library", "virtual library" and "digital library" are used synonymously. According to another scholar, Daniel(2012) sees elibrary as a collection of networked digital information resources and associated technical and managerial infrastructure. The electronic library is understood to incorporate data and metadata in various formats that are produced or assembled in order to provide services to users. However, the e-library department contains electronic information resources that are somewhat special information resources that are available in computer processable form. It contained collections that are stored in digital formats as opposed to print, microforms or other media. It can also be accessed only through computers (Baro et al. 2013).It is the nature of e-library resources to appear in computer terminal point or other e-devices that make them accessible via screen form. By virtue of this, any types of libraries that separate a particular place to the users to have access of information resources via computer and other gadgets mostly with internet connections or offline resources accessing softly using computer terminals were regarded as an E-Library department. The department or section is mostly under the Reader's Section/Division and sometimes separate to carry out their duties as well as the responsibilities independently for efficient service delivery to their users. The e-resources subscribing at the E-library department in mostly Nigerian Universities library are AJOL, Academic Journals, BOOKBOON, Dissertation and Theses, HINARI database, SAGE, EBSCO hostdatabase, Law-Pavilion, JABSCO, CALIBER database as well as conversion information resources. Tsakonas (2006)as cited in Mohammed and Ahmad, (2018), affirmed that Electronic Libraries provides electronic information resources in electronic format and these include

The objective emanates from the theoretical view that if thecountries that are receiving FDI have abundance of natural resources, a large number ofthe unemployed people are likely to get jobs, earn income and get out of poverty zone.Three measures of poverty were used in the current study, namely life expectancy atbirth, total (years), household consumption expenditure as a ratio of gross nationalproduct and mortality rate and infant (per 1 000 live births). Generally, all the four paneldata analysis methods produced similar finding: the interaction between FDI and naturalresources reduced poverty levels in African countries ...
