The study adopted survey research design with the use of a questionnaire. The questionnaire was formulated to obtain information from the respondents. A sample of one hundred (100) selected tailors in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo state were used for the study. Data analysis was carried out using simple percentages method and chi-square for the research questions. Chi-square was used to test the hypothesis and it was found that there is a positive relationship between process of entrepreneurship, content of entrepreneurship, availability of tools, supervision of apprenticeship and performance of articians. In view of these findings, it was recommended that Artisans should improve more on the approach in which they use to deliver the training packages to those on training. Artisans should adopt more advanced means of monitoring activities of artisans on training during training and development programmes such as installing closet cameras in training halls and recording of training session. Artisans can add more to their training methods like off- the-job training methods, vestibule training, programmed instruction and simulation method.

Trained enumerators, that personally administered questionnaires / interview schedule, were employed in collecting the study data. The data consists of socio-economic characteristics of the sampled respondents.
The study data was analysed by both descriptive and quantitative techniques. Descriptive techniques including construction of frequency distribution, computation of descriptive statistics (mean, standard errors, etc) were used to analyse socio-economic characteristics of the farm households. In terms of age, evidence shows that majority (53.7 per cent) of the sampled rural farm households, and by extension, rural farm households in the study area have the age of their household heads (farmers) falling between 40 and 60 years. As much as 8.9 per cent were aged, while youths (30 years or younger) featured less prominently (4.2 per cent) among the farmers. Evidence also shows that 87.5 per cent of the heads of the rural farm households were males: Majority (82.5 per cent) of the household heads were married as expected. Level of poverty among the households was found to be higher among household headed by individuals above 40 years of age, females, single parent and those without formal education as well as large families than the sample average. Diversification has been a natural response for the removal of constraints and it gives options to improve livelihood security and standard of living. Given the importance of education in enhancing human capacity to take advantage of opportunities available in both the farm and non farm sectors, government policies should improved the level of education among farm household to increase production. There is also the need to assist farmer with financial capita via access to credit. Government should encourage the rural farm households to embark on family planning and other birth control measures.

retailers are incorporating sustainability into their products and marketing strategies. Yet,

sustainability in fashion is still seen as something new and consumers are hesitant to adopt

sustainable fashion even though they have sufficient knowledge about sustainability in fashion.

Thus, the purpose of this study is as follows: (1) to investigate the factors that are affecting

millennial consumers to adopt or reject sustainable fashion consumption and how far social

influence will shape millennial’s sustainable fashion consumption practices; and (2) to examine

if gender still plays a part in millennial’s sustainable fashion perspective and behaviour in the

gender-fluid postmodern society. A total of ten respondents (five male and five female) were

recruited and participated in the in-depth interview. The data of the result indicate that

millennials have a positive attitude towards sustainable fashion; however, due to personal

inconvenience and price, many millennial consumers chose not to adopt sustainable fashion

practices. The research data also shows that there might be a relationship that older millennial

consumers focus more on their personal capability when it comes to sustainable fashion lifestyle

while social pressure and norms seem to be more effective on younger millennials to influence

their sustainable fashion consumption. However, due to the small size of samples, this study

cannot support this claim. Lastly, gender does not affect millennial’s perspective and attitude

towards sustainable fashion as this generation of consumer view sustainable fashion as positive

implementation that retailers and consumers should pursue.
