Logo, é importante analisar e conhecer as competências e habilidades necessárias para os professores em um contexto de Ensino Superior, incluindo o conhecimento do Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem (AVA). Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre os elementos necessários para o desenvolvimento de uma formação docente aliada aos recursos das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação (TICs), e como elas podem facilitar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Para tanto, serão apresentados os pressupostos teóricos necessários para uma formação pedagógica, tecnológica e sua união para a produção do saber.

The study of Mathematics presents several additional challenges for visually impaired students, a... more The study of Mathematics presents several additional challenges for visually impaired students, among them, we can highlight the lack of accessibility of mathematical contents. For this reason, many students are prevented from reaching the desired and possible levels of proficiency in this area. This present research aimed to update the knowledge of the associated media and technologies, besides braille, which has been used for the teaching-learning process of Mathematics with visually impaired students native in the Portuguese language, as well as to know the specific difficulties faced. This study was centered in the reality of Brazil and was divided into two stages, in the first one, braille teachers and visually impaired students were interviewed, and in the second stage, mathematics expressions spoken by speech synthesizers were analyzed. Although, in the English-speaking countries, there are several technologies used besides braille, in Brazil mathematics braille is the most used, because there are no other more agile technologies in Portuguese. We observed that there are still problems in the mathematical expressions spoken by synthesizers, and many of these problems have already been solved in the English language.

The use of the MathML language made possible to improve the accessibility of mathematics for blin... more The use of the MathML language made possible to improve the accessibility of mathematics for blind or low-vision persons in digital media. Synthetic speech technologies have advanced significantly using MathML, however, the speech synthesizers' standard reading style is still not suitable for mathematics. Making mathematical reading of the speech synthesizers more natural and expressive is still a challenge. The creation of models to produce the appropriate prosody in the synthesized speech of math content is therefore necessary, as shown in previous research. This article presents a proposal for a model to improve prosody in the synthesized speech of mathematical expressions based on MathML. A corpus of mathematical expressions spoken by Mathematics teachers was created to support the model's development. The Fujisaki intonation model was adopted for intonation control, accent and phrase commands have been extracted from the corpus, and some adjustments have been made to manipulate prosodic parameters in the speech of mathematical expression in correlation with the MathML tree; additionally, a pattern of pauses control is being created.

The STEM (Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum for visually impaired st... more The STEM (Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics) curriculum for visually impaired students presents several limitations, such as: wide symbology, images, graphs, diagrams, among other types of mathematics instruction that are not read, interpreted correctly by screen readers and makes it difficult to understand these contents. This article presents a systematic review of the literature that investigates assistive technologies to support the teaching and learning in mathematics for these students. This review followed the guidelines proposed for this type of research. The results present 59 technologies that allow exploring several senses: tactile, auditory, haptic and multimodal in various topics of Mathematics. The gaps identified open opportunities for future research, showing that there are limitations that make it impossible visually impaired students to reach an adequate level of knowledge in Mathematics. Resumo. O currículo das STEM (Ciência, Tecnologia, Engenharia e Matemática) para os estudantes com deficiência visual apresenta várias limitações, tais como: a ampla simbologia, imagens, gráficos, diagramas, dentre outros tipos de instrução da Matemática que não são lidos e interpretados corretamente pelos leitores de telas, dificultando a compreensão e entendimento desses conteúdos. Este artigo apresenta uma revisão sistemática da literatura, que investiga tecnologias assistivas para apoiar o ensino e aprendizagem na Matemática desses estudantes. A revisão seguiu as diretrizes propostas para esse tipo de pesquisa. Os resultados apresentam 59 tecnologias que possibilitam explorar diversos sentidos: tátil, auditivo, háptico e multimodal em diversos conteúdos da Matemática. As lacunas identificadas abrem oportunidades para futuras pesquisas, pois mostram a existência de limitações que impossibilitam os estudantes com deficiência visual alcançarem um nível adequado de conhecimento na Matemática.

The course aims to: (1) encourage students to discuss and build teaching, learning principles, criteria and strategies; (2) reflect on the humanist education of the university student; (3) plan, build and apply teaching resources in teaching situations. Our research objective was to investigate the formative processes of teaching in higher education, analyzing three moments of the discipline: (1) construction of school memories and reflections on ‘the unforgettable teacher’, (2) humanist teacher training in favor of human development: contemporary debates and (3) ‘hands-on’: collaborative construction and application of innovative tools in undergraduate courses. Compoe as discussoes do GEFOPI – Grupo de Estudos em Formacao de Professores e Interdisciplinaridade. E fruto de um projeto de extensao “Revista Pedagogica: uma analise sociologica em Pedagogia”. De fato e a confeccao de uma revista de temas pedagogicos, que abordam questoes sociais e de cidadania. Para a elaboracao da revista utiliza-se o programa Publisher. A revista teve 4 edicoes em 2013, 4 em 2014 e para 2015 esta com 4 na area pedagogica e 4 na area de cidadania. As 12 primeiras foram elaboradas com base nas disciplinas de Teoria Social, Educacao e Estado e Historia da Educacao, ministradas para o 1o ano de Pedagogia da UEG, Câmpus Sao Luis de Montes Belos, nos referidos anos. As ultimas 4 serao uma edicao especial chamada Consciencia discutindo tematicas inerentes a disciplina de Diversidade,Cultura e Direitos, ministrada no 1o ano de Matematica, da UEG, Câmpus Jussara.
