In India, microwave technique has not been explored for pharmaceutical applications. Hence, the present project was undertaken to standardize the drying process for pharmaceutical granulations by microwave technique. Eight batches of granules were prepared adapting microwave drying and compared with conventionally dried granules. The granules were prepared by wet granulation method followed by microwave drying at different intensities in a domestic microwave oven for different time intervals. The prepared granules were evaluated for moisture content, fines, bulk density, compressibility and flow properties. From the results, it was concluded that there was no difference between microwave dried and conventionally dried granules, except their moisture content. The granules were compressed into tablets after mix...

However, knowledge sharing does not occur definitely; instead, it is an individual choice that cannot be compulsory. This research tackles a critical issue, which is motivating employees toward knowledge sharing. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of the antecedents of motivation, which consists of (organizational commitment, environmental dynamism, reward, and job-related factors), to determine and explain the knowledge sharing intentions and attitudes. This will be along with examining organizational climate effect on the intentions of knowledge sharing. A total of 283 questionnaires were submitted to Arab Open University employees, and 221 valid questionnaires were considered in this study. The findings revealed that organizational commitment and intrinsic reward have a significant influ...

Among the important hurdles to be surpassed, one must obtain an estimate of one or more error variances, and specify an effect size of importance. This paper offers some suggestions for successful and meaningful sample-size determination. Also discussed is the possibility that a sample size may not be the main issue and that the real goal is to design a high-quality study. Finally, criticism is made of some ill-advised shortcuts relating to testing power and sample size. Key words : Sample size, proportion, mean, confidence interval, precision, null hypothesis, power, Type I and Type II errors.
