Puffer (1987) was among the first to officially examine the topic and labeled it as ‘‘noncompliant behavior.’’ Ball et al. (1994) continued the research inquiry with a set of ‘‘anti-citizenship’’ or objectionable behaviors, intended to contrast with Organ’s (1988) ‘‘organizational citizenship behavior,’’. In maintaining and upgrading these customs and cultures, women play a prominent role. The different forms of family structure support or hinder women employees’ career growth in an organization. This study attempts to explain whether the family structure, family support contributes to the glass ceiling. It examines whether family structure and family support will help women employees to reduce the glass ceiling or act as a hurdle in their career growth. The study comprises of both primary and secondary data. The primary data is collected through a structured questionnaire from women employees working in select manufacturing companies in and around Mysore. A summary score based on the responses of the respondents in manufacturing companies was computed, and the inferences were drawn by using appropriate statistical tools.

All forms of intellectual property have to be evaluated to mitigate the corporate risks in mergers and acquisitions (M & A). Due Diligence analysis is imperative for evaluating all aspects of a potential merger or acquisition. If a due diligence review is being conducted on behalf of the acquirer, the resource gathering procedure, including that relating to intellectual property, is a means of discovering as much as possible about the status of the acquiree. Intellectual property, especially patents, form the profits source in corporate transactions. This paper focuses on the patent due diligence in M & A and its mechanics and considerations.

Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is considered to be one of the most effective techniques use... more Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is considered to be one of the most effective techniques used by the manufacturing organizations in dealing with turbulent global economy and ever-changing customer's preferences. Implementation of BPR brings along with it many changes within the organization. This study attempts to understand and validate the organizational climate factors for effective change management Though extensive research has been done worldwide, very few empirical studies have been carried out in India. The study is based on the various success / failure factors proposed by Al-Mashari. It is hoped that better understanding of the factors will lead to higher success rates of BPR implementation. The primary data was collected from the various manufacturing industries comprising of Small Scale , Medium scale , Large scale and Multi National Companies across India using structured self-administered questionnaire. Principal Component Analaysis (PCA) with varimax rotation using SPSS19.0 was carried out in order to verify the factors proposed on the basis of literature review with respect to Indian manufacturing Sector. Upon investigation it was observed that the factors were reduced to five without omitting the items and were renamed as Organizational Culture , Educations and training , Empowerment , Equitable Compensation and Team Work. Finally it was concluded that Proper identification and adequate understanding of the organizational climate factors fostering change adaptation becomes key ingredient for successful implementation of BPR effort.

Leaders will adopt different leadership styles based on various situations. This paper is based on “Tridimensional leadership effectiveness model” which on one hand focuses on basic, effective and ineffective leadership styles; and on the other hand maturity cycle of subordinates. The objective of the study was to analyze and compare the leadership styles adopted by leaders in organizations following mechanistic and organic structures. Analysis of the data reveals that there is no significant relationship between leadership style followed and structure of the organization and that leader adopt leadership styles based on the maturity level of the subordinates. their recruitment and selection practices so as to create a huge pool of talented workforce to
meet ever increasing demand. E-recruitment sources like intranet, job portals, company websites
and Social Networking Sites (SNS) have been playing a predominant role in alluring the
prospective employees and stimulating them to apply for the job and E- Selection techniques on
the other hand have simplified the process of selection and have made it highly effective. This
paper manifests the way in which auto-component firms have been leveraging e-technological
tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of their recruitment practices by reducing- cost
and cycle time of recruitment and by increasing applicant volume. It also explores the
