Despite the global recognition of online learning as the best available option to keep enacting e... more Despite the global recognition of online learning as the best available option to keep enacting educational practices, particularly foreign language learning, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, many concern about the constraints faced by students in this unpredicted distance learning. Involving second-year students in an Islamic state university in the province of Lampung, this study aimed to investigate EFL leaners' barriers in learning speaking in online classroom and how they cope with the barriers. The data were generated through open-ended questionnaires and then analyzed using Miles and Huberman Model. The findings of the study classified three types of barriers, namely technical barriers such as bad internet connection and running out of data quota, linguistic barriers such as by lack of vocabularies, grammar and pronunciation, and personal emotional barriers such as lack of confidence and afraid of making mistakes. Meanwhile, the coping strategies with these obstacles were using more providers and finding area with good signal for technical strategies. For linguistics Strategies, learners listened the conversation and the song, memorized more vocabularies, comprehended more grammar, Reading a lot and highlight the unknown words, found the meaning of unknown words from dictionary, Watched more videos and films, discussed everything in English with more friends, practice to speak in front of the mirror and recorded it. While in Personal Emotional, learners increased their confidence by forcing and convincing themselves to speak and always keep trying, everything they felt was the challenge, ignored of being afraid on making mistakes, not be panic and take a deep breath to make them relax and enjoy every situation.

This research aims to identify and describe about the students’ problem when they speak English. ... more This research aims to identify and describe about the students’ problem when they speak English. this was because the advanced level Student of University couldn’t speak well when they perform their Proposal Seminar and Also Final Examination at the State Islamic Institute of Metro. The data were taken by having interview with 10 students, interview with the Head of English Education Study Prgram, and questionnaire. The result show that most students from advanced level student couldn’t speak English well when they have their proposal seminar and Final Examination or Munaqosyah was because they wer too worry about making mistakes on their performance because they don’y have enough vocabulary and grammar mstery so it will give impact to their pronunciation and confidence

Getting a job is something that everyone really wants without exception for people with physical ... more Getting a job is something that everyone really wants without exception for people with physical disabilities. In Metro, there are many people with physical disabilities who do not or have not gotten a job so they do anything to survive. This study was conducted to determine employment opportunities for people with physical disabilities based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2016 article 53. Data in this study were obtained through observation and interview process to the heads of agencies and people with physical disabilities in Metro. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that the job opportunities for persons with physical Disabilities in Metro are still relatively low and the rights to obtain employment for persons with disabilities as stipulated in the Act are still not well realized.

The objective of the study is to investigate whether the use of picture sequence increase the students' narrative paragraph writing ability especially in making good content, organization (form), using right vocabulary, correct grammar and mechanic in a paragraph at the Eighth Grade of State Junior High School 3 Batanghari. This can be seen from the publication of the regulation on the fulfillment of the rights of Personal with Disability (PwDs) summarized in Law number 8 of 2016. Previously, children with special needs (disable) get their right of education only in special schools, thus it impacts to social interaction with children who have no obstacles. Inclusive education offers an integrated education model. Inclusive education is conducted to train the interaction of all people from various circles in order to build friendship and association naturally. It also to motivate children who have special needs to be more confident.
