Aims & Objectives: We compared and analyzed open and laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the current study on the basis of the duration of the operation, intra and postoperative complications and the length of hospital stay & return to work.Material and Methods: This was a prospective comparative, randomized hospital-based study performed in patients of 20 - 80 years of age with acute cholecystitis in the Department of General Surgery from July 2019 to January 2021 at SMHR length of hospital stay and wound infection, return to work. The gathered data was statistically analyzed. Results: In both categories, the most common age group was 40-59 years old. Perhaps the disease is as ancient as the man himself as has been revealed by the archaeological excavation done in different parts of the world such as in Egypt. Aim: Comparative Study of Malondialdehyde, Superoxide Dismutase and Glutathione Peroxidase in Urolithiasis Patients: A Case Control Study Materials and Methods: The study was carried out in the Department of Biochemistry, Datta Meghe Medical College Nagpur in collaboration with Department of Surgery, Division of Urology and Department of Pharmacology. Results: The urolithiasis patients have shown a marked increase in plasma MDA levels. There was a significant increase in the values of superoxide dismutase in patients suffering from urolithiasis (6.26 ± 0.86 µmol/l RBC lysate) as compared to the normal control values (3.40 ± 1.09 µmol/l RBC lysate) in human volunteers (p<0.01).A significantly d...

Aims and objective was to critically assess the prevalence and severity of vitamin D deficiency in patients with diabetic foot infection, the association between vascular calcification and vitamin D deficiency and effect on healing in diabetic foot patient with and without vitamin D deficiency.Methods: This observational study was conducted on 50 patients with diabetes mellitus. Our study aimed to assessing the effect of varicocele on the semen composition characteristics by examining semen before and after varicocele ligation and also assessing changes in fertility status after varicocele ligation. The goal is to compare sperm counts, motility and morphology with teratozoospermia and asthenozoospermia in patients with varicocele. (where motility and morphology of the sperm is abnormal). Methods: Over a period of 1 year 61 cases of diagnosed varicocele associated with male infertility over a 5- year period were included.
