Without their great ideas and continued support I would not have been able to complete this project. I would also like to thank Dr. Weiner for the time he has taken to make suggestions and improvements on the project. I would also like to thank my laboratory members for their continuous help and positivity with anything that came up during the project. My lab members were extremely helpful and were always willing to answer questions and help me in any way. I also would like to thank Dr. Huazhen Fang for his patience and offering help whenever I needed. I would also like to thank Al Syvongsay who helped solder the device and was extremely helpful in turning a schematic into a prototype. I acknowledge the members of my examination committee, Dr. Sarah Kieweg, Dr. Sara Wilson, and Dr. Carl Weiner for their review of my work. I would also like to thank my family and friends who have continuously provided me with advice and support throughout my academic career.
