This paper is an extension of previous research in which the authors experimentally corroborated re-corrosion in the repaired reinforced concrete (RC) patches in the form of macro-cells. In previous research, the coupled effect was investigated by laboratory controlled experimentation at varying temperature of 30, 40 and 50°C and a high ambient relative humidity of 85% in environmental control chambers for duration of one year. The specimens were prepared having total chloride concentration in mixing water 3% and 5 % by mass of binder. In this present research paper, the two year results of the same specimens are presented to get a deep insight of the long term phenomenon of macro-cell corrosion under the coupled effect of high temperature and humidity on repaired RC patches.

Hence, this study examines the multiple-mediation model by incorporating perceived organisational politics and perceived accountability in the relationship between D.T.P.s and C.W.B. The sample of 290 employees is selected through a random sampling technique from the hospitality industry. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (P.L.S.-S.E.M.) and bootstrapping are employed to examine the multiple-mediation model. The results show that perceived organisational politics and perceived accountability mediate the association of the D.T.P.s and C.W.B. Our findings provide policymakers with a vision into the existence of the D.T.P.s and their potential consequences for C.W.B. This study encourages decision-makers and practitioners to develop an ethical climate, job standards, and systems of accountability to achieve productive goals.

Specifically, Indian firms that faced financial market imperfections domestically and market contraction externally had to cut back on outward investments as markets shrank and sales growth dampened. In contrast, the fortunes of Chinese firms that relied on debt finance to seek out international assets rose. Not only had investment targets become cheaper after the financial crisis, but the reliance on leverage as the instrument of finance also inured Chinese firms to the fluctuations of stock markets and the other financial implications of the crisis. Consequently, Chinese and Indian outward investment paths that looked so similar before 2008 began to diverge rapidly.

Furthermore, we investigated the lasing properties of the composites under nanosecond laser pumping. PQDs were dissolved in various solvents. These solutions were blended to form composite solutions with various weight ratios. The transmission, absorption, fluorescence, and band gap of BECV-DHF and PQDs were measured for various solvents and concentrations. Toluene was found to be the best solvent for blending PQDs and BECV-DHF. The absorption and fluorescence spectra of the blends showed the superposition of features of both materials. TEM analysis showed that the BECV-DHF and PQDs were separated by a distance of 9.75 A. The calculated Forster radius between the BECV-DHF and PQDs was found to be approximately 50 A – 60 A. The presence of PQDs in the BECV-DHF solution reduces the lifetime of the excited states of BECV-DHF, and the fluorescence intensity of the PQDs precedes the fluorescence intensity of the BECV-DHF; hence, the underlying mechanism was Forster-type resonant energy transfer (FRET). The spectrally narrow peaks of PQDs and the BECV-DHF/PQDs were obtained at 523 nm using optical cavity. The spectral narrowing of the full width at half maximum (FWHM) was improved from 15 nm to 8.36 nm compared to BECV-DHF/PQDs with pure PQDs. This strategy of obtaining a short-chain stable laser material via the addition of conjugated oligomer could potentially facilitate the development of efficient optoelectronic devices.

Studies emphasize that firm’s motives and institutional voids play a pivotal role in getting benefits from the internationalization process, but the factors that initiated this process have been overlooked. The objective of this study is to explore the impact of those institutional factors which initiated the internationalization process. This study reveals that institutional factors of cross listing and increased financial availability induced the internationalization process of Chinese firms. Using the financial data of non-financial firms for the period of 2005–2015, we demonstrate that the domestic financial reforms initiated the internationalization process that helps Chinese economies to achieve sustainable economic development. The study also finds that state-ownership helped firms to gain more from increased financial avai...

However, this relation often yields mixed and inconclusive results. This study establishes the links among firms' operational dynamic capability (OPDC), organizational agility and IT capability. Through snowball-sampling technique, data are collected from 298 respondents in the innovative sector of China. The data are analyzed using partial least squares (PLS) and the statistical technique PROCESS. The empirical evidence supports the mediating role that OPDC plays in the relation between IT capability and organizational agility. Moreover, the study identifies the positive moderating role of environmental dynamism in reinforcing the relation between IT capability and OPDC. The results can guide policy makers to enhance IT capability that enables OPDC, thereby leading to increased organizational agility. The study also provides avenues for future research.

Research paper thumbnail of Financial crisis of 2008 and outward foreign investments from China and India

Research paper thumbnail of Emission dynamics of conjugated oligomer (BECV-DHF)/quantum dot perovskite (CsPbBr3) composites in solutions
