Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk interaksi sosial asosiatif antara anak putus sek... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk interaksi sosial asosiatif antara anak putus sekolah dan masih bersekolah di Desa Pelimpaan Kecamatan Jawai Kabupaten Sambas dalam bentuk kerukunan, bargaining dan nilai-nilai sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Alat pengumpul data yaitu panduan observasi, panduan wawancara dan alat dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bentuk kerukunan gotong-royong pesta pernikahan berjalan baik, adanya pembuatan tarup, besurong, kuli aek dan ngarak penganten dan bentuk aktivitas tolong-menolong dalam produksi hasil perkebunan dan pertanian seperti panen buah kelapa dan panen sayur sawi. This pandemic has created social, economic, and political inequality. The turning point for getting out of this pandemic is when the COVID-19 vaccine is discovered. This article discusses how politics plays a role in the vaccination program in Indonesia. The vaccination program has already started to be implemented in January 2021, following the issues of an emergency use approval (EUA) permit by Indonesia’s Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (Indonesia: Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM)) and a halal (sacred) fatwa by the Indonesian Ulema Council (Indonesian: Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI)). Identity politics is a tendency for political participation in giving choices to one political co... more Identity politics is a tendency for political participation in giving choices to one political contestation based on personal identity. Identity can be ethnic or religious. In the West Kalimantan provincial election in 2018, the practice of identity politics was found in every ethnic and religious group. So this raises a variety of heat situations between several groups of people. This study aims to describe identity politics after the Pilkada of the Governor and Deputy Governor in a multicultural society in Sintang District. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the process of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that social relations in the multicultural community post Pilkada are still running well with mutual cooperation, please help and gather together. Factors in forming identity politics are ethnic equality, religious similarity and political networks. The post-election dynamics of political identity are the split of the voices of ethnic Dayak groups and the unification of ethnic Malays and Muslims in winning couples who share the same identity.

This research was conducted to find out the participation level of male students in the home econ... more This research was conducted to find out the participation level of male students in the home economics learning class, especially in the field of culinary. This study used descriptive research method aiming to describe how the participation of male students is by using questionnaires and structured observation instrument. Based on several aspects, the following results are obtained: 1) the pattern of interaction between teachers and male students in the classroom is not much different from female students except in certain cases requiring special attention; 2) based on the process of execution of tasks performed in classroom practice shows that male students are superior to female students; and 3) performance appraisal results show that female students are superior to male students.

This research investigates the status of lesbian couples in Padang City, Indonesia, an Islamic ci... more This research investigates the status of lesbian couples in Padang City, Indonesia, an Islamic city where the government tries aggressively to eradicate any lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT) community or activity. Moreover, the people of Padang also reject lesbians' very existence, thus making them hide their homosexual identity. Consequently, these women find it difficult to meet the partner they need for the fulfillment of their orientation with the same sex. This condition led to various strategies to maintain longterm relationships. The approach in this research was a qualitative case study. Resources were selected by purposive sampling and numbered six. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews. Data validity was ensured by triangulation. The data analysis technique was interactive analysis, as proposed by Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Findings indicate that the strategy of maintaining spouses among lesbians in Padang City are: (1) maintaining a partner with violence, (a) physical violence, (b) mental violence; (2) maintaining a partner with nonviolence, (a) sustaining a partner with material goods, (b) sustaining a partner with sexual fulfillment, (c) sustaining a partner by exposing affection on social media.

Based on ethnicity, identity politics has become a political phenomenon, especially in the areas ... more Based on ethnicity, identity politics has become a political phenomenon, especially in the areas that have ethnic diversity such as in West Kalimantan Province. This study aims to explain the rise of Malay ethnic in the Governor Elections, 2018. In the last regional elections, there were differences in the growth of ethnic politics. This research used a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results show that the existence of a single contestant candidate from Malay ethnic that makes the votes become undivided. Next, there was an agreement from a tribal organization of Malays in the nomination of a candidate. Then, there was the distribution of controversial videos spoken by non-Malays who offend the Malay ethnic community. Soit makes the ethnic Malay united to win the pair of candidates Sutarmidji and Ria Norsan that have Malay ethnic background. For these reasons, it is a revival of ethnic politics in the ethnic Malay community.

Tulisan ini ingin menempatkan gejolak perjuangan kelas-pemikiran Karl Marx-sebagai bahan kajian a... more Tulisan ini ingin menempatkan gejolak perjuangan kelas-pemikiran Karl Marx-sebagai bahan kajian analisis kritis dalam melihat upaya perjuangan pengesahan RUU Penghapusan Kekerasan Seksual di Indonesia, utamanya dalam aksi mahasiswa bersama dengan rakyat pada gerakan #GejayanMemanggil, #RakyatGugatNegara dan aksi lainnya di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Ide utama dari esai ini adalah bahwa teori kelas Marx hadir berdasarkan filosofi pemahaman terhadap fenomena sosial; adanya pembagian kelas pada masyarakat itu sendiri. Pada studi ini dilihat adalah kelas penguasa (pemerintah; negara) dan kelas rakyat biasa. Marx berkeyakinan bahwa inklusivitas dalam masyarakat hanya dapat tercapai melalui perjuangan kelas. Tulisan ini menggunakan jenis metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan kajian pustaka. Eksplorasi data sekunder dalam tulisan ini didapatkan melalui penelusuran tulisan ilmiah dan tulisan populer seperti jurnal, tulisan di koran, media daring dan buku yang terkait dengan tema dalam tulisan ini. Especially for non-santri teenagers who had a high curiosity in religious insight. The method used was a qualitative research with descriptive research. Data collection techniques used were non-participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The informants in this study were Muslim teenagers who were still studying. The findings indicated that their favorite social media were Instagram, What’s up, and YouTube. The impact of utilizing social media was to add religious insight to Muslim adolescents who were obtained the materials before and the obstacles faced by adolescents when deciding to ‘hijrah ‘; that was, there were acts of bullying and were considered to only follow trends.
