In [2] and [10], there are given generalizations of Kannan ([5]) and Chatterjea ([9]) fixed points theorems in 2Banach spaces. In this paper by using sequentially convergent mappings, the results given in [2] and [10] will be generalized in 2-Banach spaces. They might also be considered as generalizations of the results given in [11].

This paper intends to analyze the effects of openness to trade on economic growth of South East E... more This paper intends to analyze the effects of openness to trade on economic growth of South East European (SEE) countries. Although these countries are at different stages of development and integration with European Union, there are not highlighted differences on trade openness. Trade policies of them have been oriented towards regional trade cooperation and also integrating into the global economy. The empirical analysis of this study consists on 16 - year panel data of 10 SEE countries over the period 1996 to 2012. The system GMM is used as the most appropriate estimation method that addresses various econometric challenges, including endogeneity problems. The growth rate of the sample countries is modelled as dependent on trade openness and a set of control variables such as: initial level of income per capita, human capital, gross fix capital formation, FDI, labour force and a number of interaction variables with trade openness. In this paper we show that in Desargues affine plane, in certain condition, planar ternary ring (S, t) turns into usually associative ring (S, +, ·). So, in an affine plane A = (P, L, I) coordinatized from a coordinative system (O, I, OX, OY, OI) and bijection σ : (OI)→ S, determine a ternary operation t : S3 → S, which we call planar ternary operation. We prove that every coordinatizing affine plane A = (P, L, I) determine a planar ternary ring (S, t), where S is the set of coordinates of affine plane and t its planar ternary operation, and vise versa. Also we introduce the binary operation of addition and multiplication in S and underline relations a+ b = t(a, 1, b), a · b = t(a, b, 0). In this paper we have obtained some property of heaps like algebraic structure with a ternary ope... more In this paper we have obtained some property of heaps like algebraic structure with a ternary operation combined whith groupoids, by putting concept of ternary operation from multiplication, heap from multiplication and ternary groupoid. Also we show that in the same set, the existence of a laterally commutative heap, existence of a parallelogram space, existence of a narrowed Desargues system and existence of a subtractive grupoid are equivalent to each other. So, we constructed a model of a laterally commutative heap in Desargues affine plane.

The system belongs to a class of nonlinear systems exhibiting doublescroll chaotic attractors at some parameter values, and it is often used by engineers, physicists and mathematicians as a toy-model exhibiting similar features with real physical systems. In addition,having into consideration also thefact that taxes are an important factor for the countries’ growth, main aim of this paper is to research the effects of indirect taxes on economic growth in the case of Republic of Macedonia, utilizing quarterly time series covering time period 2000 – 2016.In addition, Augmented Dickey Fuller test for unit root has been applied in order to find whether the data have unit root, thus whether they ate stationary or not as well as Johansen test for co-integration has been used to find if data posses at least one co-integrating vector in the model, thus indicating the existence of significant long-term relationship among indirect taxes and economic growth in Macedonia. Namely, if we see that for a given mapping, there is a cone metric space in which the mapping is contractive, than we can construct a metric with respect to which the mapping will be contractive as well.

This study aims to estimate empirically the relationship between economic growth and unemployment... more This study aims to estimate empirically the relationship between economic growth and unemployment rate in FYR of Macedonia applying the Okun's Law. For analyzing the Okun's coefficient are used four types of models such that, the difference model, the dynamic model, ECM, and VAR estimation approach, in order to consider both, the short term and the long term possible relationship. The analysis consists on quarterly data covering the period 2000-2012. The empirical results from all models do not indicate robust evidence and do not confirm an inverse linkage between unemployment rate and economic growth, as the Okun's Law suggests. Based on the VAR methodology and Engel-Granger cointegration test, it doesn't exist a causal relationship between these two variables and a change in the growth rate of real GDP doesn't cause a change in the rate of unemployment and vice-versa. The main reasons that go far to explain the regression outputs are: first, the large informal employment that accounts at about one fourth of total employment and second the structural unemployment. The study also highlights that the country's economic policies have not been suitable for fostering development and reducing unemployment, as the primary source of employment is the public sector rather than the private sector.
