Aspects are boarded also as history of the robotics, artificial intelligence, benefits brought with the evolution of the machines and the social impact caused by the automatization of the tasks. Resumo. Este artigo tem por objetivo descrever a ligação da automação industrial e da robótica, mostrando como as máquinas estão intimamente ligadas a sociedade e mostrando como a automação industrial impulsionou a tecnologia da robótica. São abordados também aspectos como história da robótica, inteligência artificial, benefícios trazidos com a evolução das máquinas e o impacto social causado pela automatização das tarefas.
