Recorrer las páginas de este libro para la mirada de alguien que viene aterrizando hace apenas po... more Recorrer las páginas de este libro para la mirada de alguien que viene aterrizando hace apenas pocas semanas en esta tierra y en su cultura supone un descubrimiento que promueve la curiosidad. Por un lado, la oportunidad de conocer una parte sustancial de la historia del Club de Grabado de Montevideo. Al mismo tiempo, acceder a la efervescencia intelectual, a la coyuntura social y política tan particular que atravesó el país, en el cual se inscribe el proyecto y el proceso expresivo de esta institución cultural independiente. Por otro, reafirmar el interés de este Centro Cultural-como instrumento de la Cooperación Cultural Española-en respaldar este tipo de iniciativas, las cuales evidencian, a través de una valiosa elaboración conjunta, la reflexión e investigación orientada al rescate y la reconstrucción de la memoria uruguaya. No quiero dejar de mencionar, por último, la dimensión colectiva de esta labor documental, resultado del esfuerzo de sus propios protagonistas, de investigadores, técnicos y de las mismas instituciones involucradas, sin las cuales no hubiera sido posible abordar la revisión crítica de este relato.

Los treinta años, agosto-noviembre 1983. 2 Dos afirmaciones de Leonilda González son elocuentes acerca de su personalidad y sus motivaciones. The new custom-made mechanism for this is likely to be some variant of the contract system outlined in the WhIte Paper. Whilst the Bill is silent on the details, it does give the new Funding Councils 'power to make payments subject to such terms and conditions as they think fit'. Finance will be disbursed with strings attached and this will provide scope for the DES and UFC to assess performance according to pre-set targets. The Bill's ch:uses weakening the employment protection of university teachers carry the potential for a new flexibility of labour.
