Magid Al Rahib, stated the following to "Al Sharq Al Awssat", "the main aim of the society is to preserve the different branches of Egyptian heritage through many activities". Dr. Abdel Rahman Rihan, the rapporteur of the society 's press, stated that the society has started organizing conferences on the antiquities of Nubia , the Red Sea, the Delta, Al Fayoum in collaboration with the Supreme Council of Antiquities. In addition, The society has organized a number of artistic exhibitions and trained new artistic Cadres among the members of the society.

It also studies the motives for martyrdom , the kinds of martyrdom, the status of martyrs , the attitude of the ecumenical councils towards the movement of martyrdom, what is mentioned about martyrs in ancient sources and manuscripts, the statistical aspect of martyrs, the places where they are buried, the ecclesiastical and popular tradition related to them , the study of the systems of their trials, the statements of martyrs, their testimonies before the ruler or the judge, the study of what is recorded by the historiographers of martyrs, the study of the political and personal aspects of the persecutors especially the Roman emperors, the significance of the threatening statements for the Christians all over the empire, the results of this movement represented in the issuing of the decree of religious tolerance by of King Constantine.

These conditions posed challenges faced by the head of the Church, namely the patriarch, who never thought of withdrawal or disregarding his responsibilities as a father and a shepherd of the Church.

The Coptic heritage, which includes an incredible array of art, history, antiquities, architectur... more The Coptic heritage, which includes an incredible array of art, history, antiquities, architecture and manuscripts-is a subject of interest for almost all universities around the world. In those universities, departments were established for the study of subjects pertaining to the Coptic history and art forms. It is noteworthy that more than 25 countries from all over the world convene every four years to hold a conference concerning the Coptic heritage. It is also noteworthy that the University of Leiden in the Netherlands has a department in which Coptic art is studied. The professors of that department were credited with the starting of the cooperation between Egypt and the Netherlands for the preservation of Coptic art through the project about which we are talking, the ENCCAP project. That project included many facets, the objectives of which were spreading the awareness of the importance of the preservation of the Coptic heritage and supporting the programs aiming at providing training in the methods of preserving the art collections, especially those found in the monasteries of Egypt. The importance of the new program was highlighted when His Holiness Pope Shenouda III sent three monks to the Netherlands,

In a conference organized by the Society of Coptic Studies and held in the Church of Sts Paul and... more In a conference organized by the Society of Coptic Studies and held in the Church of Sts Paul and Peter located in Ramsis St. Abasseya on the 23 rd of February, 2017 A,D., I had the honor of participating with a study on the Role of Archon Ibrahim Al Gohary in the restoration of the Church of the Holy Virgin al-Surian, Wadi al-Natrun in the late 18th Century Who is Archon Ibrahim Yussef Al-Gohary? Archon1 Ibrahim Al Gohary was born in a village named "Qalyoub". He started his career as a scribe for a Mamluk emir. He scribed a number of religious books for the sake of Pope XVIII, the 107 th in number2, who mediated on his behalf and he became the private scribe of Archon Rizk, who was the chief scribe during the reign of Aly Bek al-Kebir3. When Muhammad Abul Dahab became ruler of Egypt, Ibrahim Al-Gohary became the chief scribe of all of Egypt, a position equivalent to that of a Prime Minister today. He was also named "The Sultan of the Copts" as found in an old inscription on one of the sanctuaries of the churches of the monastery of St.
