In this article we highlighted the evolution of the mutual funds from Alpha Bank. The mutual fund... more In this article we highlighted the evolution of the mutual funds from Alpha Bank. The mutual funds offer the possibility of collective investment in various instruments of the banking and financial markets and of capital, in order to obtain earnings higher than those from the interests from deposits, on medium or long term, in the conditions of assuming the eventual risks by the investors. The research method is based on the information with which help we could achieve a rigorous analysis and evolution of the mutual funds from the bank. The modality of investment into a mutual fund is buying the units from the fund. The value of the funds units is calculated daily and is published in press, in our case daily on the newspaper called Exchange. The range offered by Alpha Asset Management A.E.D.A.K. allows the investors to allocate their funds that they wish to invest after their own preference, opting to participate at different Alpha Mutual Funds, depending on the timing horizon and r...

In the civil law and the international law, the minor immigrants are the new protagonists of migr... more In the civil law and the international law, the minor immigrants are the new protagonists of migratory processes and constitute a fundamental subject. During the last decade, the presence of minors in the most important migration phenomenon has united migrations worldwide and the numbers increased significantly. There is no universal definition of the minor immigrant. This paper aims to describe the concept of minor immigrant, the effects of juvenile migration on the EU Member States and the measures to be taken in order to prevent the negative aspects and to reduce the human costs of migration processes. The method applied is the creation of placement and protection models able to comply with the obligations imposed by international conventions, model that is far from being considered adequate, since the convictions of the European Court of Human Rights prove the lack of practice in the field.

Desi parea ca va trece si aceasta moda, a protectiei datelor, iata ca amenzile autoritatilor nationale, inclusiv a autoritatii nationale de supraveghere din România, repun in discutie dificultatile interpretarii si aplicarii acestui regulament. Curtea de Justitie a imbogatit jurisprudenta relevanta in materia comunitatilor virtuale si a protectiei datelor, prilej de dezabteri academice si practice la malul Dunarii, intr-un cadru exceptional oferit de Universitatea Danubius. De la ultima conferință, o instanță din România a utilizat pentru prim data expresia ”comunități virtuale” într-o hotărâre judecătorească. Conferinta este o platforma de dialog pentru solutionarea unor probleme practice avand drept ghid alocutiunea invitatilor. Conferinta se adreseaza practicienilor, unii dintre vorbitori avand experienta in consultanta sau fiind resposabili cu protectia datelor. Conferinta reuneste cadre didactice și cercetatori de la Academia Română și centre universitare din țară – Universitatea Danubius, Universitatea de Medicină, Farmacie, Științe și Tehnologie din Târgu Mureș și Universitatea de Vest din Timisoara, Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov și din străinătate – King’s College London și Universitatea din Maastricht. De asemenea, începând cu luna noiembrie 2020, Danubius International Business School – Centrul de Formare Continuă al Universității Danubius din Galați în colaborare cu Daniel-Mihail Șandru, intenționează să organizeze la sediul Universității programul de formare continuă, recunoscut de Ministerul Muncii și Protecției Sociale și de Ministerul Educației și Cercetării, Responsabil cu Protecția Datelor cu Caracter Personal.

The world portrayed by Sadoveanu functions according to archaic norms. Justice is made either by the ruler (or by his men), or on one"s own (provided there is enough strength), in accordance with some ancient laws. The helpless (when the ruler is not on their side) hope for divine justice. A coherent system of laws and fair judges, devoted to unbiased justice (similar to the German one, mentioned in one of the tales), remain a desideratum in this literary masterpiece.

The aim of this article is to present its social, cultural, economic role and the essential and fundamental valor of biodiversity. The approach proposed in this paper is based on the recognition of the multinational and multicultural particularities in the Danube area and is focused on the analysis and the importance of the local cultural synergy. We use the pragmatic interdisciplinary paradigm and our academic observation would be impartial, objective and ethical.

However, the manner by which it was decided to exit the EU, namely the "referendum" raises many legal constitutional debates within the United Kingdom, even to the admission of the possibility to invoke the nullity of the vote of the British people. However, the London Government reaffirmed their desire to abandon the European ship. Thus, engaging the technical procedures for negotiating the conclusion of exiting from the EU cannot be sustained for too long. However, the future relationship between the European Union and Britain gives rise to many uncertainties. It puts in question the type of framework agreement which will regulate the cooperation between the EU and the UK. Distance learning in Romania is organized by combining different forms of distance interaction an... more Distance learning in Romania is organized by combining different forms of distance interaction and communication (designed and developed using an e-learning predefined platform) but also face-to-face meetings and tutorial sessions. Danubius University implemented in 2009 such a system based on Sakai e-Learning platform. To evaluate the quality and opportunity level regarding the usage of the e-learning platform and the specific methods and tools, the distance learning department developed a quiz for the students. The content of this questionnaire, based on which the performance assessment is made, approach the flexibility in offering the e-learning support, the communication possibilities and the time saving. All the University's students enrolled in distance learning programs were subjects no matter their degree level or domain. Inside the vast array characterizing the phenomenon of migration, in this paper we chose to focus... more Inside the vast array characterizing the phenomenon of migration, in this paper we chose to focus our analysis on a unique and extremely delicate category: the minor immigrants. The main objective is to highlight the heterogeneity of juvenile migratory phenomenon, achieving a prospective of analyses which focuses not only on international law aimed at protecting minors but also on the flaws of European systems which ignore too often the importance of the superior interests of the child. Mainly the Convention on the Rights of the Child, signed in New York in 1959, provides a generalized protection of minor figure and it represents the legal basis for all rules directed towards children and thus to minor immigrants.

Thus, in the play Jocul ielelor, he determines his characters to support the validity of several types of justice. The main character is the journalist Gelu Ruscanu, who lives a true drama of conscience because his notion of "absolute justice" (Platonic and Kantian) cannot be applied to/ in his contemporary reality. Beyond its undoubted literary value, the play Jocul ielelor is also a genuine debate about the concept of justice.

The social structures are already revolutionized by the introduction of artificial intelligence in the industry and society and the legal framework is not yet prepared to absorb the impact. This is why we consider that robots should have a distinctive legal status, separate from their users and owners. The role of this special issue is to define the contents of the status of the artificially intelligent agents (liability, rights, tax duties and so on) for a minimum certainty not only related to eventual damages, but also to the public safety and data protection.

In this study we have analyzed briefly the main regimes in the domain of human rights, arising fr... more In this study we have analyzed briefly the main regimes in the domain of human rights, arising from the breach of rights and guarantees by the states to its citizens, the categories of persons arising as a result of failure to fulfill obligations of governments and specifying the legal regulations by which the man can regain the needed protection; in a separate chapter we will examine the regimes of refugees and asylum seekers, which raise separate issues in the context of migration of people in the recent years in the context of Muslim people migration towards the European countries.
In this paper we analyze whether the Romanian economic context confirms the Armey model, and pres... more In this paper we analyze whether the Romanian economic context confirms the Armey model, and present the relationship between public spending and economic growth that may offer a suitable basis for decision makers. The analysis is based on both annual and quarterly data regarding public spending and economic growth in Romania. After investigating the correlation validity, the analytic results did not confirm the premises related to the Armey Curve for the Romanian context during 1990-2011. However the time interval is marked by unpredictable phenomena such as the transition from the state economy to the market economy and the world financial crisis, both is altering the results. The fact determines us to search the coordinates for developing a new model that describes better the connections and the period characteristics.
