The commercial cultivars of these vegetables were evaluated based on the growth parameters and their yield performance under open field with paired row system of planting. It was found that the cultivar Green Express performance was outstanding among test edcultivars and it superseded cv. Royal Ball BC-51 and cv. Blue Jayes in terms of growth parameters as well as marketable yield (2.62 kg/m2) and biological yield (3.47 kg/m2). The cv. Royal Ball BC-86 was also found next best performing cultivar after cv. Green Express as former was at par with growth and yield parameter and harvest maturity of later. The head of cv. Green express attended harvest maturity (149.25 days) approximately one week earlier as compared to cv. Blue Jayes (155.0 days...

This software provides facilities for casting your vote using internet so the name given to our project is “i-voting: Democracy comes home”. Any person who wants to vote should register to the website. Each voter has to fill their details along with their voting id and Aadhar card number to prove their identity and thus voter creates account for voting. Unique biometrically encrypted VID which is equivalent to voting card is generated for every registered voter. User can cast his vote using this biometrically encrypted VID. The server used can be any web server. A backup server will be maintained in case of server break down. The main aim of our proposed system is to increase the voter’s turnout. The system proposed gives the facility to the user to cast his vote online irrespective of the place provided they are a registered user. To authenticate the user, system uses image processing technique. And for integrity purpose the votes and VID are en...
A new application architecture is designed for continuous, real-time, distributed wireless sensor... more A new application architecture is designed for continuous, real-time, distributed wireless sensor networks. We develop a wireless sensor network for machinery condition-based maintenance (CBM) in small machinery spaces using commercially available products. We develop a hardware platform, networking architecture, and medium access communication protocol. We implement a singlehop sensor network to facilitate real-time monitoring and extensive data processing for machine monitoring. A new radio battery consumption model is presented and the battery consumption equation is used to select the most suitable topology and design an energy efficient communication protocol for wireless sensor networks. A new streamlined matrix formulation is developed that allows the base station to compute the best periodic sleep times for all the nodes in the network. We combine scheduling and contention to design a hybrid MAC protocol, which achieves 100 % collision avoidance by using our modified RTS-CTS...

Automotive grade 3 electronic components are expected to meet their functional, performance and t... more Automotive grade 3 electronic components are expected to meet their functional, performance and thermal safety requirements within the ambient temperature range from −40-degree C to +85-degree C. In this study, CFD and thermal analysis of electronic control circuitry of a power steering wheel column adjustment system is performed. It consists of 6 MOSFETs (Metal Oxide Semi-Conductor Field Effect Transistor) packaged in 3 Dual package MOSFET casings (Q6, Q7 and Q8) that are arranged in two H-bridge configurations for dependent control of the two motors. Two of these MOSFETs cause thermal power dissipation during the normal operation of the system. There are also other thermally significant devices such as a reverse polarity protection MOSFET (Q1), two inductors used in a low pass filter and one current sense resistor. Because of cost and packaging limitations, there are no external heat sinks to enhance heat transfer. The components will rely on the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and pl...

Oilseed crops, such as soybean, mustard, groundnut and sunflower are the major source of edible oils (Uikey, 2017). In India, total oilseeds production is 320.83 lakh tons, and the contribution of rapeseed-mustard is 79.77 lakh tons that ranks second after soybean (137.94 lakh tons) in the India‟s oilseed economy. Indian mustard (Brassica juncea L.) is predominantly cultivated in the states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya International Journal of Current Microbiology and Applied Sciences ISSN: 2319-7706 Volume 10 Number 01 (2021) Journal homepage: http://www.ijcmas.com

The potential severity of those risks due to the important damages caused to the environment and their possible impact on populations of India. Furthermore, the motoring of risk management is important for our country so as to do more research for future development.

A drive-response philosophy is used where one chaotic system is known as a transmitter and other chaotic system with controller is termed as a receiver. Lu chaotic system is considered as a drive system and Bhalekar-Gejji (BG) chaotic system is considered as a response system. Proportional integral (PI) sliding surfaces are designed to achieve synchronisation between nonidentical chaotic systems to achieve secure communication. Sliding mode control law is designed to ensure the system trajectories to the designed sliding surfaces. Required asymptotic stability condition is derived using Lyapunov stability theory. MATLAB simulation environment is used for numerical simulation of the proposed communication scheme. Simulation results reveal the successful achievement of the proposed nonidentical ch...

Blood-pressure (BP) categorizations between systolic blood pressure (SBP) of 120 and 140 remain debatable. In the current study we aim to evaluate if individuals with a baseline SBP between 130-140 mm Hg (hypertension as per AHA 2017 guidelines) have a significantly higher proportion of incident hypertension on follow-up, as compared to those with SBP between 120-130 mm Hg. Methods Secondary data analysis was performed in a community-based cohort, instituted, and followed since 2017. Participants were aged ≥30 years, residents of urban slums in Bhopal. BP was measured at or near home by Community Health Workers (CHWs). Two-year follow up was completed in 2019. We excluded participants who were on BP reduction therapy, had fewer than two out-of-office BP measurements and who could not be followed. Eligible participants were re-classified based on baseline BP in four categories: Normal (Category-A),...

Efforts for improving the performance of concrete over the past few years suggest that cement replacement materials along with Mineral & chemical admixtures can improve the strength and durability characteristics of concrete. This project is an attempt to study the behaviour of Alccofine 1203 (5%, 6%, 7%, 8% and 10% replacement by weight of cement) along with Fly Ash (15%) and GGBS (15%) replacement on fresh & hard property of concrete. As well as optimiz...

The resolution of genes controlling disease resistance in chickens is somewhat daunting task in most breeding schemes and disease resistance is not a high priority trait possibly because of low heritability. The continued increase in virulence and drug resistance in pathogens and growing concern over use of drugs and vaccines for livestock and poultry production have led the recently re-developing interest in “breeding for disease resistance” instead of higher production state only. Myxovirus (Mx) resistant gene is one of the important genes influencing the immune system as it has got an antiviral action against the single stranded RNA viruses including influenza virus, vesicular stomatitis virus, measles virus etc. Identification and characterization...
