Corona Virus 19 (COVID-19) is a contagious viral infection that has now spread to various countri... more Corona Virus 19 (COVID-19) is a contagious viral infection that has now spread to various countries, one of which is Indonesia. Monitoring of the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia is handled directly by the Government of Indonesia, especially by the Ministry of Communication and Information (KOMINFO) with the creation of the Protected application found on Google Play. Users provide reviews or comments about the application, of course, users will choose applications that have good reviews. However, monitoring reviews from the general public is not easy, because there are so many of them to process. So that the researcher wants to know the extent of the analysis of user reviews of the PeduliLindungi application based on reviews of user comments by using classification techniques, namely the Support Vector Machine (SVM) Algorithm and Naive Bayes Based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The test results with the accuracy value and AUC value of each, namely for the PSO-based Naive Bayes algorithm the accuracy value = 69.00%, and AUC value = 0.659, while for the PSO-based SVM algorithm the accuracy value = 93.0% and the AUC value = 0.977. For this reason, the application of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)-based Support Vector Machine in this study has higher accuracy so that it can be used to provide solutions to sentiment analysis problems in review comments of users of the PeduliLindungi application.

Existing approaches address some issues, but are mostly limited to metabarcoding or optimized for microbial data. We present PIA (Phylogenetic Intersection Analysis): a taxonomic binner that works from standard BLAST output while mitigating key effects of incomplete databases. Benchmarking against MEGAN using sedaDNA suggests that, while PIA is less sensitive, it can be more accurate. We use known sequences to estimate the accuracy of PIA at up to 96% when the real organism is not represented in the database. For ancient DNA, where taxa of interest are frequently over-represented domesticates or absent, poorly-known organisms, more accurate assignment is critical, even at the expense of sensitivity. PIA offers an approach to objectively filter out false positive hits without the need to manually remove taxa and so make presuppositions about past environments and their palaeoecologies.

Aim: Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) is an autosomal dominant disease, characterized by elevat... more Aim: Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) is an autosomal dominant disease, characterized by elevated plasma low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels detectable already at birth. Early identification from childhood is internationally recommended. The aim of this study is to assess whether cholesterol levels in cord blood correlate with neonatal venous blood. Methods: Total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and apolipoprotein B are measured in cord blood and simultaneously in venous blood collected at birth from 300 full-term neonates. Levels are compared between cord blood and neonatal venous blood. Results: At present data are available on 200 samples. Values were lower in cord blood, and showed a high degree of correlation with values in venous blood measured at birth (see table). Correlation coefficients were 0.72 for total cholesterol (p¼0.000), 0.70 for LDL cholesterol (p¼0.000), 0.88 for HDL cholesterol (p¼0.000), 0.50 for triglycerides (p¼0.000), and 0.80 for apolipoprotein B (p¼0.000). Conclusions: These preliminary results indicate good correlation between total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and apolipoprotein B levels in cord blood and venous neonatal blood, suggesting that cord blood may have a role in FH diagnostics.

RESUMO: Foi avaliada a eficiência da espécie Dendrocalamus asper tratada por imersão simples com ... more RESUMO: Foi avaliada a eficiência da espécie Dendrocalamus asper tratada por imersão simples com tetraborato de sódio decahidratado (Bórax) a 2, 3 e 4,7%, tribromofenato de sódio (TBF) a 2 e 4% e água à 100ºC (2 e 4 horas) submetida ao ataque dos fungos Trametes versicolor (podridão branca) e Gloeophyllum trabeum (podridão parda). O ataque dos fungos foi determinado de acordo com a norma ASTM D-2017 (2005). O tratamento com Bórax foi o mais eficiente, sendo classificado como altamente resistente ao ataque de ambos os fungos e concentrações testadas, não sendo observada diferença significativa entre as concentrações avaliadas. O tratamento com TBF foi classificado como resistente a ambos os fungos, e também não foi observada diferença significativa entre as concentrações avaliadas. O tratamento com água à 100 o C foi o menos eficiente em ambos os períodos avaliados, com as amostras submetidas ao fungo de podridão branca classificadas como resistentes e as submetidas ao de podridão parda como pouco resistentes. As amostras não tratadas apresentaram uma perda de massa semelhante às tratadas com TBF, sendo classificadas como resistente a ambos os fungos apodrecedores. Banyak media digital yang digunakan oleh sekolah untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar, salah satunya adalah E-Learning. E-Learning menawarkan proses pembelajaran yang optimal yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan setiap siswa dan dapat diakses dimana saja selama terhubung dengan koneksi internet. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan sistem informasi E-Learning sebagai sarana penunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar. Model yang digunakan dalam membangun sistem E-Learning adalah model Waterfall SDLC. Metode Waterfall dimulai dari proses perencanaan, analisis, perancangan, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan pada sistem. E-learning berbasis web ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan guru dalam memberikan materi, tugas, dan ujian secara online melalui website. Demikian juga siswa juga dapat mengakses materi E-Learning kapan saja dan dimana saja dengan menggunakan berbagai jenis gadget yang mereka miliki.

Mulai dari kesalahan perekaman, data tidak aman jika disimpan dalam dokumen fisik, pelaporan terkadang tidak akurat dan memakan waktu yang lama karena data master diproses secara manual. RNAi was used to analyze the effects of suppressing rpn-13 and codepleting rpn-13 and wee-1.3, on C.elegans fertility. Strain IT1877 contains a mutated ubiquitin fused to a GFP, and therefore monitors proteolytic activity of the 26S Proteasome. If gene depletions cause 26S proteasome dysfunction, the degree of dysfunction can be quantified by measuring the intensity of the emitted signal. A brighter GFP signal indicates proteasome dysfunction, while low to minimal GFP signal means the proteasome is functioning normally. This strain was used to study the effects of rpn-13 suppression on 26S proteasome activity.
