In order to address one of the objectives of this project —gender mainstreaming in humanities—, t... more In order to address one of the objectives of this project —gender mainstreaming in humanities—, this work is focused on different female authors of classical languages and the role that has been assigned to them nowadays in the curriculum. Firstly, Hrotsvitha of Gandersheim’s —to whom the digitalized works belong— life, work and style are briefly described. This first section is concluded by showing that this author doesn’t have the academical presence she could acquire. The text then carries on with a subjective assessment of gender mainstreaming in those courses that study classical culture or languages and a short journey through the writings of Anite and Sulpicia. Finally, a series of points regarding the most important matters of our personal experience collaborating with HuDiPeG are presented.
