For this environment can be understood as the process of space concentration of many correlative segments of a production chain, also called as clusterization process, which this special conformation gives to the firms special conditions to develops the superior competitive advantages than the others firms isolated. Busca-se identificar as preocupações ambientais das agroindústrias exportadoras de derivados láct... more Busca-se identificar as preocupações ambientais das agroindústrias exportadoras de derivados lácteos. Especificamente, pretende-se identificar as exigências de seus mercados de atuação, os problemas ambientais gerados pela atividade, bem como as práticas adotadas para mitigá-los. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa e do tipo exploratória. Foram pesquisadas seis agroindústrias do Estado de Minas Gerais por meio de entrevistas individuais gravadas, além do levantamento de dados secundários. Para a análise dos dados, optou-se pela abordagem interpretativa. Observou-se que a incorporação da variável ambiental nestas agroindústrias está relacionada essencialmente aos aspectos legais e econômicos, sendo que a variável ambiental configura-se apenas como meio pelo qual os objetivos empresariais são atingidos. Specifically, it is intended to identify their market segments' requirements and environmental problems created by their activity, as well as the practices adopted to mitigate them. This is an exploratory qualitative research. Six agribusinesses from the state of Minas Gerais had been searched by means of individual recorded interviews and a secondary data survey had been conducted. For data analysis, an inter pretative approach had been chosen. It was observed that the environmental variable incor poration in these agribusinesses is essentially related to legal and economic aspects, considering that the environmental variable only represents a way of achieving business objectives.
