The amount of the two compounds may vary depending on the environment where they are grown. This study aimed to determine the correlation between the local microclimatic condition and the concentration of caffeine and CGA in green and roasted beans of Robusta coffee from six different cultivation areas in West Java, Indonesia (i.e., Ciamis, Tasikmalaya, Sumedang, Kuningan, Cianjur, and Bogor). Samples of green beans and roasted beans were extracted with 70% methanol for caffeine analysis and ethyl acetate for CGA analysis. Caffeine and CGA were analyzed by UV-HPLC using a C18 shimpack gist shimadzu column, with an isocratic elution of methanol:water (1:1) at a 1 mL/min flow rate. IB BRISyariah KPR in its contract uses a murabahah contract because it is more easily understood by the customer, but some people argue that the murabahah contract is deemed unsuitable to be used in sharia KPR financing. The objective of this research was to determine mortgage financing products using murabahah contracts, financing products using musyarakah mutanaqishah agreement, and comparative analysis of murabahah contracts and musyarakah mutanaqishah contracts on mortgage financing products in BRISyariah. Qualitative method is used on the research. Interviews, observations, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies techniques were used to colleting the data. The data analysis technique used comparative technique. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the murabahah agreement is indeed easier to understand and seems simple but it is important to know that the musyarakah mutanaqishah agreement is more beneficial if applied in banking. The advantage for the customer is if the bank uses the musyarakah mutanaqishah contract, the customer can pay the rental costs according to the customers' income while the advantage for the bank is if fluctuations in house prices occur, the rental costs to be paid by the customer will also increase.

However, after conducting presurvey, there is lowering in the development of Muzakki amount in the last three-years. Meanwhile, the research questions in this study are: how is the implementation of Islamic Marketing Mix in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office?, how is the development of Muzakki amount in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office? how is the effort on the enhancement of Muzakki amount in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office? how much influence of Islamic Marketing Mix towards the enhancement of Muzakki amount in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office is?. The method employed in this research is analysis descriptive. The technique of data collection conducted in this study is multiple regressions in order to know how much influence of Islamic Marketing Mix towards the enhancement of Muzakki amount in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office. The result of this study shows that the implementation of Islamic Marketing Mix conducted in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office that suits Sharia principles, has lowering ofMuzakkiamount in the last three-years. The effort in enhancing the amount of Muzakki is by optimizing promotion tool that is used and having collaboration with the other corporations. Risk which become the case in terms of channeling fund to communities in Islamic Banks is financi... more Risk which become the case in terms of channeling fund to communities in Islamic Banks is financing risk. This risk often occurs in financial institutions that have financing products. To minimalize this risk, Financial Service Authority issued a regulation on risk mitigation for BPRS. Financing mitigation is executed in two stages, which be done before and after fund thawment. Problematic financing in installment payment is often occur. This will effect amount of profit margin in murabaha financing which had previously predicted by banks. Based on these description, the points that will be researched in this study are: 1. How to mitigate financing risk in BPRS Amanah Rabbaniah? 2. How profit margin applied in Murabaha Financing in BPRS Amanah Rabbaniah? 3. How is the influence of risk mitigation financing to profit margin of murabaha financing. This research method using descriptive verification method. Techniques of collection data with questionnaires, documenting of customer's installments and interviewing account officer of the bank. Analysis of data is quantitative method with simple linier regression statistical test. The result showed that t count equal to-1.448, t table equal to 2.096 and signification 0.077. Because of t count < t table and signifation value > 0.05, it means that risk mitigation of financing didn't have a significant effect to profit margin of murabaha. In caluculation of determination coefficient showed that influence is only equal to 4.2 %. The remaining is equal to 95.8% that influenced by other factors. These factors include the return of the third party funds, interest rate of conventional banks, margin of murabaha financing with other islamic banks, overhead cost, and other operational cost, profit targets, and distribution of murabaha financing.

The content of antioxidants in meniran is donated by tannin. The use of meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) extract as an herbal medicine has been widely used. Meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) can be brewed as tea and made into a drink, but the content of antioxidants in meniran tea is not widely known. The use of meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) tea can directly avoid the effects of residual solvents on extracting. The purpose of this study is to determine the type of tannin and tannin content in meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) tea with the permanganometry method. Meniran tea (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) was made by washing and drying at room temperature. Meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) was collected from grass or roadside in the Tasikmalaya Regency. The research were conducted at the Basic Laboratory of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Siliwangi University. The results of the qualitative analysis showed that tannins contained in meniran tea are included in a group of hydrolyzed tannins with tannin content of catechol complex. The tannin content contained in 1 gram of meniran tea is 7.56 mg (7.56%).

Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 144 ekor ayam pedaging strain Lohman dan probiotik cair yang mengandung bakteri Lactobacillus sp dengan komposisi 1,4x10 10 cfu/ml. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yaitu P 0 : Pakan basal; P 1 : Pakan basal + probiotik bentuk cair konsentrasi 0,2 v/w; P 2 : Pakan basal + probiotik bentuk cair konsentrasi 0,4 v/w dan P 3 : Pakan basal + probiotik bentuk cair konsentrasi 0,6 v/w . Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam dan diuji lanjut dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penambahan probiotik cair pada pakan memberikan perbedaan pengaruh terhadap konsumsi pakan, pertambahan berat badan, koversi pakan, berat dan pesentase karkas tetapi tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap mortalitas ayam pedaging. Methodologically, this research used a qualitative method with primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires to customers using iB Hashanah Card. Data processing techniques using the AHP method. The first research result, iB Hasanah Card is a system of implementation by DSN-MUI Number 54, the product differentiation strategy uses four indicators, namely Features, Product Adjustment, Quality of Conformity, and Easily Improved. Third, analysis of differentiation strategies for iB Hasanah Card Classic products, Gold, and Platinum on the decision to choose sharia credit card products using the AHP method resulting from Synthesis with Formula to Goal that has been processed through selection experts with inconsistency value of 0.06 for the results of excellence owned by iB Hasanah Card Gold.

Dengan demikian, budidaya sayuran akumulator Cd seperti selada meningkatkan resiko paparan Cd di tajuknya. Aplikasi pupuk hayati Azotobacter di lahan tersebut berpotensi meningkatkan serapan Cd karena Azotobacter memproduksi EPS yang memobilisasi Cd. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memastikan efek inokulasi Azotobacter terhadap produksi selada dan peningkatan Cd di tajuk selada yang ditanam di tanah Andisols terkontaminasi ringan oleh Cd. Penelitian lapangan dirancang dalam rancangan acak kelompok yang menguji beberapa konsentrasi inokulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inokulasi pupuk hayati Azotobacter sp. The current study aimed to make a film layer from polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and a dichloromethane (DCM) fraction of S. trifasciata to reduce heat radiation from smartphones. S. trifasciata leaves were macerated using ethanol and partitioned with ethyl acetate, DCM, and n-butanol. The DCM fraction was chosen to create the film, for which PVA was also used. The blended film made from PVA and 0.02% DCM reduced heat radiation from smartphones by up to 4.4°C starting from the first minute of use; its heat reduction remained stable until the 20 th minute. Based on these results, it was determined that the active compounds in the DCM fraction are closely related to saponin-type steroids.

EFFECT OF PIPERONYL BUTOXIDE AND SILVER NITRATE ON DEGRADATION PATHWAYS OF N-OCTADECANE BY Fusari... more EFFECT OF PIPERONYL BUTOXIDE AND SILVER NITRATE ON DEGRADATION PATHWAYS OF N-OCTADECANE BY Fusarium sp. F092. The aliphatic fraction is usually the largest component in crude oil. Its removal from oil contaminated fields has become an environmental priority and been considered useful for enhancing environmental recovery. Our previous studies reported the isolation of Fusarium sp. F092 based on its ability to degrade chrysene. F092 could also degrade crude oils and their aliphatic fractions. However, aliphatic degradation pathways in crude oil have not been clearly understood. The identification of aliphatic metabolite pathways using a representative compound n-octadecane was carried out in this study, as well as the effect of Piperonyl Butoxide (PB) and Silver Nitrate (AgNO 3) on the degradation of n-octadecane and its metabolite. Fusarium sp. F092 had ability to break down n-octadecane from about 125 to 13 mg L-1 after 60 days incubation. During degradation, several metabolite products could be detected and identified to form carboxylic acid groups. By the addition of PB and AgNO 3 , inhibitor of monooxygenase and dioxygenase enzymes, Fusarium sp. F092 had ability to convert n-octadecane to form alkyl hydroperoxides via terminal oxidation pathway with involvement of a dioxygenase.

In this study we investigated the phenanthrene degradation by a halophilic consortium obtained fr... more In this study we investigated the phenanthrene degradation by a halophilic consortium obtained from a saline soil sample. This consortium, named Qphe, could efficiently utilize phenanthrene in a wide range of NaCl concentrations, from 1% to 17% (w/v). Since none of the purified isolates could degrade phenanthrene, serial dilutions were performed and resulted in a simple polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH)-degrading culture named Qphe-SubIV which was shown to contain one culturable Halomonas strain and one unculturable strain belonging to the genus Marinobacter. Qphe-SubIV was shown to grow on phenanthrene at salinities as high as 15% NaCl (w/v) and similarly to Qphe, at the optimal NaCl concentration of 5% (w/v), could degrade more than 90% of the amended phenanthrene in 6 days. The comparison of the substrate range of the two consortiums showed that the simplified culture had lost the ability to degrade chrysene but still could grow on other polyaromatic substrates utilized by Qphe. Metabolite analysis by HPLC and GC-MS showed that 2-hydroxy 1-naphthoic acid and 2-naphthol were among the major metabolites accumulated in the Qphe-SubIV culture media, indicating that an initial dioxygenation step might proceed at C1 and C2 positions. By investigating the growth ability on various substrates along with the detection of catechol dioxygenase gene, it was postulated that the uncultured Marinobacter strain had the central role in phenanthrene degradation and the Halomonas strain played an auxiliary role in the culture by utilizing phenanthrene metabolites whose accumulation in the media could be toxic.

This paper summarizes the existing practice of coal mining, covering the regulatory aspects and their reclamation obligations, the practices of coal mining from various sites with different land characteristics, and the reclamation efforts of the post-mining landscapes in Indonesia. Endophytic bacterial communities of tidal flat plants antagonistic to oomycete plant pathogens we... more Endophytic bacterial communities of tidal flat plants antagonistic to oomycete plant pathogens were studied by the isolation of 256 root colonizing endophytic bacteria from surface-disinfected root tissues of six plants (Rosa rugosa, Suaeda maritima, Vitex rotundifolia, Carex scabrifolia, Glehnia littoralis and Elymus mollis) growing in a tidal flat area of Namhae Island, Korea. To understand the antagonistic potential, an in vitro antagonistic assay was performed to characterize and identify strains that were antagonistic to the oomycete plant pathogens Phytophthora capsici and Pythium ultimum from the total population. Nine percent of the total number of isolated bacteria exhibited in vitro inhibitory activity against target plant pathogenic oomycetes. Taxonomic and phylogenetic placement of the antagonistic bacteria was investigated by analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequences. The sequence analysis classified the antagonistic strains into four major classes of the domain bacteria (Firmicutes, α-Proteobacteria, γ-Proteobacteria and Actinomycetes) and 10 different genera. Further production of secondary metabolites, hydrolytic enzymes and plant growth promoting traits were determined for the putative new species of antagonistic endophytic bacteria. These new strains could not be identified as known species of α-Proteobacteria, and so may represent novel bacterial taxa. The unexpected high antagonistic bacterial diversity associated with the tidal flat plants may be indicative of their importance in tidal flat plants as a promising source of novel antimicrobial compounds and biocontrol agents.

This study aimed to determine the correlation between the local microclimatic condition and the concentration of caffeine and CGA in green and roasted beans of Robusta coffee from six different cultivation areas in West Java, Indonesia (i.e., Ciamis, Tasikmalaya, Sumedang, Kuningan, Cianjur, and Bogor). Samples of green beans and roasted beans were extracted with 70% methanol for caffeine analysis and ethyl acetate for CGA analysis. Caffeine and CGA were analyzed by UV-HPLC using a C18 shimpack gist shimadzu column, with an isocratic elution of methanol:water (1:1) at a 1 mL/min flow rate. IB BRISyariah KPR in its contract uses a murabahah contract because it is more easily understood by the customer, but some people argue that the murabahah contract is deemed unsuitable to be used in sharia KPR financing. The objective of this research was to determine mortgage financing products using murabahah contracts, financing products using musyarakah mutanaqishah agreement, and comparative analysis of murabahah contracts and musyarakah mutanaqishah contracts on mortgage financing products in BRISyariah. Qualitative method is used on the research. Interviews, observations, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies techniques were used to colleting the data. The data analysis technique used comparative technique. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the murabahah agreement is indeed easier to understand and seems simple but it is important to know that the musyarakah mutanaqishah agreement is more beneficial if applied in banking. Meanwhile, the research questions in this study are: how is the implementation of Islamic Marketing Mix in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office?, how is the development of Muzakki amount in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office? how is the effort on the enhancement of Muzakki amount in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office? how much influence of Islamic Marketing Mix towards the enhancement of Muzakki amount in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office is?. The method employed in this research is analysis descriptive. The technique of data collection conducted in this study is multiple regressions in order to know how much influence of Islamic Marketing Mix towards the enhancement of Muzakki amount in RZ Bandung-Antapani Branch Office. This risk often occurs in financial institutions that have financing products. To minimalize this risk, Financial Service Authority issued a regulation on risk mitigation for BPRS. Financing mitigation is executed in two stages, which be done before and after fund thawment. Problematic financing in installment payment is often occur. This will effect amount of profit margin in murabaha financing which had previously predicted by banks. Based on these description, the points that will be researched in this study are: 1. How to mitigate financing risk in BPRS Amanah Rabbaniah? 2. How profit margin applied in Murabaha Financing in BPRS Amanah Rabbaniah? 3. How is the influence of risk mitigation financing to profit margin of murabaha financing. This research method using descriptive verification method. Techniques of collection data with questionnaires, documenting of customer's installments and interviewing account officer of the bank. Analysis of data is quantitative method with simple linier regression statistical test. The result showed that t count equal to-1.448, t table equal to 2.096 and signification 0.077. Because of t count < t table and signifation value > 0.05, it means that risk mitigation of financing didn't have a significant effect to profit margin of murabaha. In caluculation of determination coefficient showed that influence is only equal to 4.2 %. The remaining is equal to 95.8% that influenced by other factors. These factors include the return of the third party funds, interest rate of conventional banks, margin of murabaha financing with other islamic banks, overhead cost, and other operational cost, profit targets, and distribution of murabaha financing.

The content of antioxidants in meniran is donated by tannin. The use of meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) extract as an herbal medicine has been widely used. Meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) can be brewed as tea and made into a drink, but the content of antioxidants in meniran tea is not widely known. The use of meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) tea can directly avoid the effects of residual solvents on extracting. The purpose of this study is to determine the type of tannin and tannin content in meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) tea with the permanganometry method. Meniran tea (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) was made by washing and drying at room temperature. Meniran (Phyllanthus niruri Linn.) was collected from grass or roadside in the Tasikmalaya Regency. The research were conducted at the Basic Laboratory of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Siliwangi University. The results of the qualitative analysis showed that tannins contained in meniran tea are included in a group of hydrolyzed tannins with tannin content of catechol complex. The tannin content contained in 1 gram of meniran tea is 7.56 mg (7.56%).

The current study aimed to make a film layer from polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and a dichloromethane (DCM) fraction of S. trifasciata to reduce heat radiation from smartphones. S. trifasciata leaves were macerated using ethanol and partitioned with ethyl acetate, DCM, and n-butanol. The DCM fraction was chosen to create the film, for which PVA was also used. The blended film made from PVA and 0.02% DCM reduced heat radiation from smartphones by up to 4.4°C starting from the first minute of use; its heat reduction remained stable until the 20 th minute. Based on these results, it was determined that the active compounds in the DCM fraction are closely related to saponin-type steroids.

F092. The aliphatic fraction is usually the largest component in crude oil. Its removal from oil contaminated fields has become an environmental priority and been considered useful for enhancing environmental recovery. Our previous studies reported the isolation of Fusarium sp. F092 based on its ability to degrade chrysene. F092 could also degrade crude oils and their aliphatic fractions. However, aliphatic degradation pathways in crude oil have not been clearly understood. The identification of aliphatic metabolite pathways using a representative compound n-octadecane was carried out in this study, as well as the effect of Piperonyl Butoxide (PB) and Silver Nitrate (AgNO 3) on the degradation of n-octadecane and its metabolite. Fusarium sp. F092 had ability to break down n-octadecane from about 125 to 13 mg L-1 after 60 days incubation. During degradation, several metabolite products could be detected and identified to form carboxylic acid groups. By the addition of PB and AgNO 3 , inhibitor of monooxygenase and dioxygenase enzymes, Fusarium sp. F092 had ability to convert n-octadecane to form alkyl hydroperoxides via terminal oxidation pathway with involvement of a dioxygenase.

In this study we investigated the phenanthrene degradation by a halophilic consortium obtained fr... more In this study we investigated the phenanthrene degradation by a halophilic consortium obtained from a saline soil sample. This consortium, named Qphe, could efficiently utilize phenanthrene in a wide range of NaCl concentrations, from 1% to 17% (w/v). Since none of the purified isolates could degrade phenanthrene, serial dilutions were performed and resulted in a simple polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH)-degrading culture named Qphe-SubIV which was shown to contain one culturable Halomonas strain and one unculturable strain belonging to the genus Marinobacter. Qphe-SubIV was shown to grow on phenanthrene at salinities as high as 15% NaCl (w/v) and similarly to Qphe, at the optimal NaCl concentration of 5% (w/v), could degrade more than 90% of the amended phenanthrene in 6 days. The comparison of the substrate range of the two consortiums showed that the simplified culture had lost the ability to degrade chrysene but still could grow on other polyaromatic substrates utilized by Qphe. Metabolite analysis by HPLC and GC-MS showed that 2-hydroxy 1-naphthoic acid and 2-naphthol were among the major metabolites accumulated in the Qphe-SubIV culture media, indicating that an initial dioxygenation step might proceed at C1 and C2 positions. By investigating the growth ability on various substrates along with the detection of catechol dioxygenase gene, it was postulated that the uncultured Marinobacter strain had the central role in phenanthrene degradation and the Halomonas strain played an auxiliary role in the culture by utilizing phenanthrene metabolites whose accumulation in the media could be toxic.

Endophytic bacterial communities of tidal flat plants antagonistic to oomycete plant pathogens we... more Endophytic bacterial communities of tidal flat plants antagonistic to oomycete plant pathogens were studied by the isolation of 256 root colonizing endophytic bacteria from surface-disinfected root tissues of six plants (Rosa rugosa, Suaeda maritima, Vitex rotundifolia, Carex scabrifolia, Glehnia littoralis and Elymus mollis) growing in a tidal flat area of Namhae Island, Korea. To understand the antagonistic potential, an in vitro antagonistic assay was performed to characterize and identify strains that were antagonistic to the oomycete plant pathogens Phytophthora capsici and Pythium ultimum from the total population. Nine percent of the total number of isolated bacteria exhibited in vitro inhibitory activity against target plant pathogenic oomycetes. Taxonomic and phylogenetic placement of the antagonistic bacteria was investigated by analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequences. The sequence analysis classified the antagonistic strains into four major classes of the domain bacteria (Firmicutes, α-Proteobacteria, γ-Proteobacteria and Actinomycetes) and 10 different genera. Further production of secondary metabolites, hydrolytic enzymes and plant growth promoting traits were determined for the putative new species of antagonistic endophytic bacteria. These new strains could not be identified as known species of α-Proteobacteria, and so may represent novel bacterial taxa. The unexpected high antagonistic bacterial diversity associated with the tidal flat plants may be indicative of their importance in tidal flat plants as a promising source of novel antimicrobial compounds and biocontrol agents.
