The method employs Core Process Models of Controlled Variables (101) and Manipulated Variables (103), devoid of dynamics of interacting regulatory controllers in conjunction with Manipulated Variables Disturbance Rejection Models (104). The process models (100) can be updated for use for on-line control as well as for off-line simulation studies including operator training. This allows updating of a complex multivariable process control with relatively ease with absolute minimal of additional data gathering.

This modular design provides a robust model predictive controller with a way to debug a unified approach. Mass balance and energy balance of the explicit use to provide a stable and robust performance (412). It provides a unified debugging method (411) based on the use debugging economy. Unified debugging method establishes consistency (400) from the control action steady-state and dynamic optimization of control. Further, the present invention proposes a method (100) using a model predictive controller to the plurality of modular design and debugging of integrated optimization and control. This method of incorporating a direct and clear method of a large number of modular integrate the model predictive controller. Seamlessly integrated modular controller debug without requiring any adjustment (200). The resulting integrated system may be a plurality of modular predictive controller robustly performed, it allows each of the modular model predictive controller system plays its role in the case where another operation state. The proposed integration may be implemented to include the same low level controller or module controller, or both (300).
