This kind of surveys (by opposition to pointed surveys of selected objects) has the potential to build SZ luminosity functions and their evolution and to trace the redshift distribution of SZ sources. The late one can be used as a good ``Omega_0''-tester.

The MAXIMA and MAXIPOL instruments consist of a 1.3 m off-axis Gregorian telescope and a receiver housing a 16 element array of 100 mK bolometers. Observations are made in 3 frequency bands centered on 150, 240, and 410 GHz. We recently released temperature anisotropy power spectrum

MAXIMA is sensitive to CMB fluctuations on angular scales from 10 arcmin to 5 degrees. The instrument uses a 16 element bolometric array with 3 frequency bands centered at 150, 240, and 410 GHz. An angular power spectrum of the CMB anisotropy
