Corrosion is the main cause of mature failures for infrastructure such as residential, public fac... more Corrosion is the main cause of mature failures for infrastructure such as residential, public facilities, and also industries. Regarding of industry which having a rapid growth in the province of Aceh, especially Palm Oil Processing (PKS), the existence must be noticed in line with the environmental impact that caused by operations such as industrial gases which can be polluted the atmosphere. This condition can transform the infrastructure especially steel which is located around PKS becomes more vulnerable to the corrosion attacks. This study aims to investigate the corrosion atmospheric of structural steel in the PKS area and operational impacts for the infrastructure of PKS at PT. Ensem Sawita and PKS PT Anugerah Fajar Rejeki(AFR). Infrastructure corrosion is focused on measuring atmospheric corrosion rate of structural steel surrounding PKS area. Research on the characteristics of the fluid flow across the bluff body has been carried out and ... more Research on the characteristics of the fluid flow across the bluff body has been carried out and placed in a variety / setting, let alone research on fluid flow across three circular cylinder arranged stagger by placing 2 (two) Inlet Disturbance Body (IDE) as a bully in front. This effort is usually done to reduce the normal force, shear force, and drag force that occurs in the bluff body of the three circular cylinders. This research was conducted experimentally in mechanics laboratories and fluid machines using subsonic wind tunnels and tested at Re = 2.2x104 based on the diameter of a circular cylinder. Variations used are longitudinal distance ratio (L/D) = 2 with a circular cylinder diameter (D = 25 mm) and transverse distance ratio (T/D) = 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 and IDE placement on the upper and lower sides from cylinder 1 (upstream) in the form of a cylinder with a diameter (d = 4mm) at 30 °.
