However, higher education institutions have a lot to take care of their students like many successful corporations look out their customers. At the same time, educational institutions need to maintain their position as information facilities and educational standards which involve both social and economic integrity. In this paper, we specifically address the factors attracting students to enrol in a private university which was a study in Kolej Universiti Islam Perlis (KUIPS). Several factors such as programs, facilities and location, and peers and family are emphasized in this study. It is to foresee the university choice decision among students. The results of this study revealed the significant relationship between those independent and dependent variables. Interestingly, dealers of smart phones need to understand what factors affect such demand, typical features as well as characteristics of the buyers. The main objective of this study is to understand how price, social influences, relative advantage and brand image affect demand of smart phones in the northern regions of Malaysia, where the State of Perlis has been chosen. The primary data of this study was collected by distributing randomly 120 sets of questionnaires to respondents who live in Perlis. The responses obtained were analyzed by several statistical tools namely frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation analysis, Cronbach's Alpha Reliability test, Person Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regression Analysis, computed by a data software, Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 17.0. This study revealed that price, social influences, relative advantage and brand image have significant relationships towards demand of smart phones. Detailed discussion of the study objectives, literature review, theories, research limitations, conclusions and finally some recommendations for future research study are given below. It is our hope that the results of the study can help mobile phone companies to have better understanding of the features of the smart phone market, be able to produce quality products and improve their marketing strategies.

In addition, successful adaptation to the new host culture by international students can be achieved by getting good emotional and physical support, coupled with deep understanding from family members. This study aims to understand the interaction adjustment process among international students in a private higher learning institution. We had identified and collected relevant data from two faculties in Kolej Universiti Islam Perlis. A total of 5 respondents were selected and interviewed, and the selection process was made through a snowball sampling technique. Two main themes, local accent and communication in the English Language, were developed for this study. This study provides a discussion of the main findings from the research and where applicable, links the works of literature to the research outcomes. The study outcomes can also be used as a guideline in the adjustment process for international students. Universities can also make references to this study in helping international students adapt to a new host's culture, especially in terms of interaction adjustment, by providing appropriate pieces of training and guidelines.

Lecturers and students need to use appropriate online platformsarising from the Movement Control Order (MCO) restrictions with effect from March 18, 2020, in Malaysia. In essence, the MCO prohibits Malaysians from attending to or organizing mass events or public gatherings, and where public and private educational institutions are concerned, they are not allowed to conduct any classesin situ. The only possible continuation of classes is via online learning. This case study had two research objectives: 1) Whatwere the challenges faced by educators when implementing online learning? and 2) How to overcome these challenges faced by educators in online learning? This study had applied the qualitative approach method, where researchers had distributed surveys, through a google platform, to a total of 20 educators. The results showed six (6) major challenges faced by educators in online learning, these being 1) students were less focused on online learning; 2) the platform/medium of learning was not satisfactory; 3) students left behind learning tools such as books and laptops in residential colleges; 4) students' internet access was less satisfactory to the extent that the lectures had to be extended from the actual time allocated; 5) educators' unstable internet access which disrupted the momentum of teaching; and 6) students did not attend the online courses. There were four (4) means to overcome these challenges 1) institutions to provide more comprehensive and e-learning platforms for online learning; 2) internet access for educators and students should be good to ensure smooth and uninterrupted online classes; 3) providing workshops or training programs on management of online classes for educators; and 4) for courses involving mathematical computation, in addition to a more suitable platform for teaching, the student population per group to be small in size to accommodate 10 educators while teaching. The results of this study shall benefit the management of private higher learning institutions and educators involved in online learning.

Emphasis is placed on this particular group of respondents primarily due to the dearth of research conducted on female expatriate nurses. METHOD We conducted a preliminary study using semi-structured interviews with sixteen (16) Malaysian female expatriate nurses working in SA to obtain a broader understanding of their experiences with cross-cultural adaptation and their use of social media tools to connect with their families and friends in their home country. RESULTS This study uncovers numerous social media communication tools being used by female expatriate nurses to help curb their loneliness and lessen the culture shock of living and working in a foreign country. Continuous engagement with these tools helps Malaysian female expatriate nurses maintain their emotional stability, thereby enabling them to remain mentally strong and ultimately prolonging their stay in SA. CONCLUSIONS This study's outcomes contribute significantly to the knowledge of the government, various organizations, and aspiring female expatriate nurses in the healthcare industry because the results can assist female expatriate nurses during the adjustment period, enabling them to work efficiently and successfully in the host country.

In-depth interviews with twenty-two Malaysian SIE RNs provided rich data on their adjustment experiences. The resulting data were subjected to a qualitative content analysis using Black, Mendenhall, and Oddou's (Black et al., 1991) cross-cultural adjustment (CCA) model. The results show that the nurses faced several challenges. Five themes emerged: learning to speak Arabic, adapting to a confrontational communication style, facing new work practices, dealing with homesickness and loneliness, and adjusting to new gender norms at work and in public. This study contributes to our understanding of expatriate adjustment by providing new interpretations of the cultural challenges faced by female SIEs and the nature of their adjustment process...
