This study firstly reviews the literature on conceptions of experiments in didactics of math and didactics of physics to design questionnaires to survey the conceptions of experiments in teaching physics and teaching math in Vietnam. Thereafter, the survey has been conducted among the math and physics pedagogical students in the Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE). The results of the survey have revealed the similarities and differences of the concepts of an experiment in teaching math and physics. In addition, this study also discusses the causes and consequence of the similar and dissimilar concepts of experiments.

However, in many cases, the process of building model and the operating of the model is abstract to the students and even teachers. For a deeper understanding of modeling, the first part of the study will present an overview of modeling in mathematical and physical learning. The next part of this study will proposes the application at the steps of building model and operating model in teaching based on modeling process. In addition, this study also presents some examples of using these ICT tools in teaching some math-physics integrated topics and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of using them.

Forest resources, generally used for short-term gain rather than long term ecological and economic benefit, remain threatened and institutional arrangements for their management are ineffective; people's livelihoods, in which forest resources often play a significant role, are also threatened. Failure to recognise the interests and rights of stakeholders, including local people, over forest resources, and failure to encourage their participation in forest management decisions are a prime reason for the ineffectiveness of institutional arrangements for forest management. This thesis, by addressing the question 'How do contemporary institutional arrangements affect forest resource management in the North Upland of Vietnam?' examines this issue. This study uses the Pressure-State-Response analytical framework to examine the changing relationships between forests, stakeholder...

The tooth-shaped disc is placed in a clutch housing composed of the left housing and the right housing. The inner face the housing also has tooth shaped features mating with the teeth of the disc through the working MRF. Excitation coils are placed directly on stationary winding cores placed on both side of the clutch housing. An air gap of 0.3 mm is left between the housing and the winding cores to ensure the housing can freely rotate against the winding cores. After the introductory part, configuration of the MRC is introduced and the transmitted torque of the MRC is derived. An optimization process to minimize the overall volume of the proposed clutch, which can generate a required maximum braking torque, is then conducted. The optimal results show that the overall ...

This paper presents the design, operating principle and control system for the slotless self-bearing motor (SSBM). In this design, the stator has no iron core but includes six-phase coils. The rotor consists of a permanent magnet and an enclosed iron yoke. Magnetic forces generated by the interaction between stator currents and the magnetic field of the permanent magnet are used to control the rotational speed and radial position of the rotor. In this paper, the torque and radial bearing forces are analyzed theoretically with the aim to develop an improved control system. In order to confirm the proposed control method, an experimental system was constructed and tested. Simulation and measurement results show that the SSBM can work stably in modes such as start, reverse, rotation load and external radial...
