Innovation is very important in many aspects of universities, such as research developments and i... more Innovation is very important in many aspects of universities, such as research developments and its applications, teaching, and universities’ management. The development of innovation within universities is seldom depend on innovation climate which might affected by universities’ cult. This paper aims to describe the relationship between organizational culture and organizational climate in a privateuniversity. A case study was conducted at Maranatha Christian University through collecting data from leaders from five faculties and rectorate. The questionnaire of Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) and the innovation climate were distributed and analyzed. Focus Group Discussions (FGD) were done to deepen the analysis. The result shows that there is a correlation between dominantculture to the innovation climate. When the dominant culture is adhocracy or market then the organization has better innovation climate than the hierarchical or clan dominant culture.

The production of his plantation produces strawberries which have sweet and flavorful flavors. This company has grown rapidly and has penetrated the Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya markets through the distribution channels of premium retailers. The need for large strawberries in urban areas makes companies have to maintain taste quality, supply quantity and regulate cropping patterns for sustainable harvests. To carry out this business, companies face problems not having a clear organizational structure and job description. The function of delegation of tasks and authority has not gone well and rests on the owner of the company. Marketing audit has been evolved since 1950’s to the present. Every decade had its own improvemen... more Marketing audit has been evolved since 1950’s to the present. Every decade had its own improvement in its essences, objectives, methods and applications. The audit, however, has many challenges in present and future as it facing different marketing environment, marketing practice and development of other sciences. Some issues have to answer such environmentalism, ethics, change in information technology, culture challenges, strategic management, the use of technology in marketing, value based marketing, multiple products and strategic business units, resource based valuation, scorecards, etc. Marketing audit needs to have some adaptations, could be in the essence, methods and applications. This essay is a literature review regarding marketing audit in the view of methods and applications. The objective of the essay is to stimulate some ideas to innovate the marketing audit.

Melalui model Means-End Chain diuraikan atribut-atribut produk untuk dikomunikasikan. Dalam Kenyataan pengkomunikasian tersebut sering terbias oleh gangguan-gangguan. Pengukuran efektifitas komunikasi dalam atribut fasilitas, reputasi, kehidupan sosial, kelas sosial, suasana akademik, dan tes masuk diukur dalam aspek-aspek kemudahan ditemukan, kemenarikan, kemudahan diterimanya, kesesuaian dan kejelasan dari informasi. Pengujian Kolmogorov-Smimov satu variabel digunakan untuk menguji validitas dari aspek-aspek tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa atribut pembeda yang dicoba dikomunikasikan adalah fasilitas, mutu, dan suasana dapat dikatakan cukup baik karena mudah ditemukan, menarik, mudah diterima, sesuai dengan Kenyataan dan jelas, namun citra yang terbentuk sebagai universitas bermutu dan berfasilitas baik tidak terlalu dominan. Sedangkan gangguan yang teridentifikasi adalah hambatan organisasi, kaburnya persepsi mutu dengan fasilitas, informasi teman dan saudara, dan alat.n

Internet users enhances their interpersonal relationships and establish themselves multiple identities on the Internet in order to gain a sense of self-fulfilling achievement. This research applies questionnaires to collect data and targets Facebook users. The result shows four primary factors that exert positive influences on Facebook users’ Internet relationships and motivations, namely, self-disclosure, interpersonal needs, entertainment and leisure, and societal impact. This research can become a useful reference for future studies and Internet businesses on how users’ motivations can strengthen the versatility of the Internet community in self-disclosure, interpersonal needs, entertainment and leisure, and interpersonal relationship, in order to draw up strategies on promoting users’ motivation and loyalty

Due to the ease of finding information and comparing products, consumers can choose a hotel not only by room type, but also by rate, according to their preferences. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of price discrimination on the fairness perception toward reservation intentions. The interaction effects of the brand familiarity and the type of consumers on the fairness perception were also examined. The study used an experimental design, with 2 price discriminations × 2 brand familiarities × 2 regulatory focuses, on a total of 320 valid subjects. The results showed that advantaged-price discriminations had higher fairness perceptions than equal-price discriminations, and that higher fairness perceptions had higher reservation intentions. The interaction effect of brand familiarity showed no significant impact on the fairness perceptions, while the re...

The forming is concerning the culture of its founding context and how the organizational culture is manifested in organizational behavior and management practices. The description of this process is expected to inspire how to build an organizational culture at the university. Methodology/Technique - We conduct an exploratory study using a qualitative method because it enables us to reveal the process. The primary data were obtained from university leaders, collected through in-depth interviews. Researchers chose five leading Christian-based universities on the island of Java that have an A-level institution accreditation. Findings – To avoid conflicts of interest, the objects of research chosen was in a different operational area from the university where the researcher originated.
