We also provide additional new records for several other countries. An additional comparative morphological analysis of D. morawitzi with D. hirtipes using light and electron microscopy is provided. New morphological differences between these two species are highlighted. Significant variation in hair morphology on some parts of the female body of these two species are shown. Differences and similarities between D. morawitzi and D. hirtipes are discussed and the impossibility of a synonymy of D. graeca Lepeletier & Serville, 1828 with D. morawitzi is discussed. Corrected and new diagnostic features of the subgenus Dasypoda s. str. are given.

century from its first mention. The specimen was collected from Stânca Ștefănești nature reserve and is among one of the northernmost
records of this bee in Europe. We describe the collection site and provide an updated distribution map along with a description of the female
specimen.

Twenty six species are for the first time recorded in this protected area.

The presence of Panurgus dentipes needs to be confirmed. This paper illustrates the morphological characters of two species, Panurgus calcaratus and Panurgus banksianus and lists the distribution records of these species in Romania.

The checklist includes 162 species recorded over the past 135 years by various specialists and comprises 154 species belonging to the genus Andrena, 3 species to the genus Camptopoeum, 2 species to the genus Panurgus, 1 species to the genus Panurginus and 2 species to the genus Melitturga.

The 19 species of Colletes and 36 species of Hylaeus listed here are shown according to the 8 historical regions of Romania.

The observations and experiments were made in open field with the following varieties of bean Gondola, Prelude, Maxidor, Harwester, Contendor, Sonesta, Harbone, Timpurie de Bacãu The attack of mite appeared in June. The climatic conditions of July and August were favorable for development of mite and the degree of attack increased till 39,8 % in 2 trial. In the climatic conditions of 2007 the behavioral of studied varieties were different. The yield data of varieties: Prelude, Contendor and Maxidor were superior of control variant Timpurie de Bacau 3.0 t/ha. The yield of Prelude was 4.0 t/ha, the yield of Contendor of 3.8 t/ha and the yield of Maxidor was 3.2t/ha.

of biology and ecology. Although temporarily and spatial fragmented, all these studies
brings an important contribution to the knowledge of this group of insects in our
country and allow us to assess the number of Apoidea species from Romanian fauna to
678.
