It portrays the roles of the political actors during and after the popular uprising. In further analysis, it explores the state of struggle over power between the Islamic political movements, including the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and the other political actors in Egypt. The paper argues that the revolution has been hijacked by the Islamic political groups from the youth, who started the revolution, in a continuous struggle to retain their revolution. The future political scenarios of the power struggle between the nation and the ruling elite are determined by several political variables, including level of violence, loyalty of the military institute to the regime, the international pressures, economic indicators, parliamentary elections and the political game of alliances. The public's attention should turn to the will and persistence of the "Doves" to pursue their legitimate demands.

It portrays the relationship between religion and politics in the Middle East in general, and Egypt in specific. In further analysis, it explores the ideology and the literature of the Islamic Ruling Model based on a comparative analysis of the major Islamic political sects: the Revolutionary, Traditionalist, Modernist, and the Secularist. The paper argues that religion was repeatedly manipulated in politics not only by all political leaders in Egypt, but also by the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Movement since its inception in 1928. It specifically examines the pragmatic MB strategies to formulate a tailored-made Islamic ruling model suitable to the Egyptian socio-political settings and fulfills the mega strategies of the movement.

It portrays the organic relationship between the MB and socio-political structures in the Gulf area. In further analysis, it explores the MB strategies of entrenchment in the Gulf societies, especially its penetration throughout the ruling elites in each Gulf State. The crackdown by most Gulf States on the MB came about because of its imminent threat to their national security; especially after the organization resumed power in Egypt and stretched eastwards. The paper argues that there are direct implications for the relationships of the Gulf States with the MB, and the relationships of the Gulf States with Egypt after July 3, 2013. The amenable relationship of the historical allies depends mainly on coordinated policies with the MB.
